Learning a new class or character in any video game can be difficult especially if it’s a different type than you’re usual.

In Project Smash, there are a lot of different characters that you can choose and each one of them handles differently than the others. You’ll want to learn what the different combos and tricks are so that you can start winning with that new character.

Now, in this guide, we’ll be looking at the Ninja character in the game. We’ll go through its moves and what possible combos you can do with the Ninja. Now, let’s see what this character can do!

Ninja Combo Complete Guide & Showcase

We all know what a Ninja is, everyone except Ubisoft knows what they are. That’s the reason why we still don’t have a Ninja-themed Assassin’s Creed game after all.

The Ninja in Project Smash can be quick and agile swinging his katanas around. It also has a few tricks up their sleeves, and we’ll go through all of them!

Ninja Basics

The Ninja character has a katana for its main weapon and can do basic 4-hit combos with its M1 attacks. This character gives you 4 moves to play around and here are all of them and what they do:

  • Whirlwind Slash – You do a spinning katana strike that sends you forward. This ability can break guards.
  • Ghost Strike – You do a fast slash attack forward which can be great at finishing off enemies.
  • Firecrackers – This is a short-range move that throws explosive firecrackers in front of you.
  • Bomb Toss – This skill lets you throw a bomb a few feet in front of you. It sends enemies flying and you can also jump over it when it explodes to fly yourself.

SIDE NOTE: Using the Akuma Dash can help you follow up with more combos, so here’s a detailed guide on how to use that dash!

Basic Combos

Compared to other characters in the game the Ninja can have some simple yet effective combos for you to master. Most of the combos make use of the Bomb Toss or Fireworks moves while using M1 attacks as filler. Here are some combos you can try and master:

  • 3x M1 + Firecrackers + 3x M1 + Ghost Strike – A short and simple combo that’s easy to master.

Also, as a bonus, here’s a combo called “Bobm” (must be a typo or an inside joke) from one of our readers, weirdtoast (shout out to you!) which they explain, “very effective as it brings up the percentage by 46%”.

Here’s how you do the Bobm combo:

  • 3x M1 + Firecrackers + 3x M1 + Bomb Toss + M1 – When you finish this combo the enemy should launch behind you because of the Bomb Toss being thrown behind them.

Function: The 3rd skill serves as a combo extender, while the 4th M1 hurls or knocks opponents toward the location of the placed bomb. After the bomb’s explosion, they get propelled even farther away!

Project Smash Bomb Toss

When doing these combos, it’s best to use Whirlwind Slash to get close to the enemy. The move can also break guards which is great to start combos. Bomb Toss can be used to break combos early if you toss a bomb before an enemy starts a combo on you.

Those are all the moves and some combos that you can use for the Ninja in Project Smash. Now, go out there and try it out yourself!
