Without a doubt, I have to say that among all the Pokémon games available on the Roblox platform, Tales of Tanorio stands proud as one of the best. Not only does it have a wonderful story and a surprisingly inspired world, but the Tanorians — the monsters you catch — are all varied and incredible. Perhaps my favorite part about this game comes in the form of its fans (me included), who can’t help but theory craft about what’s coming. In this particular case, we’re going to go ahead and give out some zesty Blood Moon Info.
While we aren’t quite in the spooky season yet, there’s no denying that the devs have been hyping up the appearance of the Blood Moon, so what do we know about it so far?
Blood Moon Info
For those who aren’t in the know as far as Tales of Tanorio goes, the game experiences different weather. You can be having fun in the sun at one moment, right before being caught in a downpour. Since we’re talking about the Blood Moon here, then it’s safe to assume that it’s also a type of weather pattern, only it’s extremely rare.
As you can see, the Tales of Tanorio dev has compiled a list of the different types of weather in the game, as well as their overall rarity (the lower the rarer). As you can see, the Blood Moon and the Aurora weather patterns are the rarest in the game.
So, if the stars align and the game decides to offer one of the rarest instances, then the Blood Moon shall rise, and it’s going to look a little something like this:
Pretty creepy right? Now, the cool part is that’s only the beginning, because now we get to start theory crafting about what might happen during the rise of the Blood Moon.
Changing weather patterns depending on the season
Another message from the dev involves the Blood Moon having secondary weather conditions. They’ve stated in one of the updates that the Blood Moon has a higher chance of happening between October 21st to November 7th. I suppose it’s understandable, given that it’s one of the spookiest times of the year.
Interestingly enough, they also stated that the Blood Moon has a chance to appear very rarely outside of that. This is where the image above comes into play, as now we know that the Blood Moon, similar to the Aurora, will always have a chance at appearing, but it’s incredibly low.
As an added bonus, I’ll give you guys some tips on how to reset for a Shiny Starter in this game.
The effect of the Blood Moon
So far, the only information we’ve got on the effect of the Blood Moon is this:
It really isn’t much, but it does say a lot when you think about it. Naturally, people will be happy to have boosted exp rates during a Blood Moon, but it’s the Evolution condition that interests me. Of course, this is still the perfect time to start EV Training! This is where all the theory crafting comes into play!
The Cosmic Kid Tanorian
For those who’ve already encountered this Tanorian, you already know what I’m talking about. For those who haven’t yet, this is none other than Cornica, as shown below:
Why am I talking about Cornica out of the blue? Well, it’s not as random as you might think. The thing is, there have been talks that Cornica has a Split Evolution, and it depends entirely on the weather.
Do you see where I’m going with this? Apparently, Cornica will potentially evolve into something else entirely during a Blood Moon. You might also be interested in getting more starter Tanorians in preparation for the Blood Moon event!
Ladies and gents, meet the Tanorian that is likely to be the evolution of Cornica. It’s pretty terrifying, huh? Apparently, it’s called Expersica. Some players have already seen a dev walking about with this bad boy. This very likely has something to do with the Blood Moon, but we’ll see what happens when the weather finally allows it!
Oh by the way, here’s a guide on the best methods to farm exp and money in the game!
The Great Red Door
One of the most interesting things about Cornica involves the huge door located in Kaigan Canyon. If you haven’t yet seen it, here it is:
It’s located in a Cave below Kaigan Canyon. The interesting thing here is you’ll also see Cornica along the way. As if that wasn’t enough, if you head on over to the door and go as close as you can, the music will change to something quite interesting.
The music is pretty epic and a little intimidating, which has led many to believe that — because of the design of the Great Red Door — it is most definitely related to the Blood Moon. Perhaps during this legendary weather pattern, this door will finally open and players will come face to face with something Legendary. Perhaps Expersica, or maybe…
The Sign of the Blood Moon
The Tales of Tanorio devs aren’t finished teasing players concerning the appearance of the Blood Moon. While this post was released quite some time ago, the team never followed up on it — until now.
At this point, players were very interested concerning what might happen, but the team never quite pushed through with the changes. For whatever reason, they kept it hidden from players, and now things are finally starting to make sense.
SIDE NOTE: It’s always good to keep up-to-date with all things Tales of Tanorio. Here’s some update info you might have missed!
What’s even more interesting is the fact that this message clearly shows that they cut this content from the game. For whatever reason, this particular Tanorian never made it.
What is it building up to?
When you consider that the Blood Moon is bound to happen soon and is already a part of the weather system, players are speculating that it has to do with the Tanorian that was removed — called Neolix.
When you consider all of these little puzzle pieces, things start making sense. People have always wondered about the Great Red Door, and when it might finally open. Now that the Blood Moon is just about ready to be revealed, looks like we won’t have to wait much longer!
