Anime Last Stand: Evolved Animated Crow Guide & Showcase

It’s time for the Uchiha to rise.

Evolved Crow in Anime Last Stand

All right, I don’t think I need to be the one to tell you that Roblox is a fantastic gaming platform. I also don’t need to be the one telling you that Anime Last Stand is one of the best tower defense games out there.  What I WILL tell you, however, is how amazing the new evolved unit in the game is. Let’s have a look at the Evolved Animated Crow Guide & Showcase added in Update 5, shall we?

Evolved Animated Crow Guide & Showcase

You’ve probably already surmised this, but for an Evolved Animated Crow to even exist, there first needs to be a unit you must evolve. In this case, it’s none other than the Illusionist. The reason why I’m so excited for this unit is because he’s based on Itachi Uchiha from Naruto.

As far as how useful the Illusionist actually was, the unevolved form could be used in various modes of the game, but I wouldn’t say he was anywhere near the best. He was usable, but that’s pretty much it. Animated Evolved Crow on the other hand is entirely different. We also have the Hybrid Rias guide and showcase if you’re interested!

Evolving the Illusionist in Anime Last Stand

From what you can see above, you need the following to evolve the Illusionist:

  • The Illusionist himself
  • The Shiringun (Sharingan) Eye from the recent Raid Event
  • Spirit Shard x40 (Achievable from Challenge Mode)

As far as his overall stats go (at Level 75), the Evolved Animated Crow has the following:

Base Stats

  • Damage: 13.2k
  • Range: 45.3
  • SPA: 6s

Advanced Stats

  • Crit Damage: 50%
  • Crit Chance: 0%

Elemental Stats

  • Element: Demonic
  • 1.5x Damage to Holy Enemies

I suppose Demonic is the only way you can really describe the Evolved Animated Crow, which means he does the most damage to Holy Element Characters.

The Showcase

All right, so when you first get this guy, this is what you’ll see:

Evolved Crow no upgrade in Anime Last Stand

Not bad, right? Probably the most surprising thing about this unit is the range at 42. For a non-upgraded unit, that’s pretty incredible (and OP). As for the miscellaneous details:

  • Evolved Crow is a Burning type unit
  • Evolved Crow uses Hybrid placement
Evolved Crow Susano'o in Anime Last Stand

WHAM! Out of nowhere, Susano’o, which is the Evolved Crow’s signature attack. It’s freakin’ massive, and looks incredible. Additionally, you get to boost your attacks further down the road!

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, this is where we get into the nitty gritty. I’m going to lay out all the stats throughout Evolved Crow’s upgrade line.

Upgrade 0

  • 13.2k Damage
  • 42 Range
  • 5.82s Cooldown
  • 0% Crit

Upgrade 1 ($3.5k cost)

  • 19.8k Damage
  • 42 Range
  • 5.82s Cooldown
  • 0% Crit

Upgrade 2 ($4.5k cost)

  • 24.7k Damage
  • 42 Range
  • 5.82s Cooldown
  • 0% Crit

Upgrade 3 ($6k cost)

  • 32.3k Damage
  • 42 Range
  • 5.82s Cooldown
  • 0% Crit

  • 63.6k Damage (a huge increase)
  • 25 Range (an overall decrease)
  • 5.82s Cooldown
  • 0% Crit
Evolved Crow AoE in Anime Last Stand

This is the point where the Giant Fire Slash is added to the unit’s repertoire! That said, the Evolved Crow has begun to change the way he attacks. As you can see, the range actually goes down quite a bit, but the damage is off the charts so take full advantage of the situation!

Upgrade 5 ($800 cost)

  • 83.4k Damage
  • 25 Range
  • 5.82s Cooldown
  • 0% Crit

Upgrade 6 ($800 cost)

  • 109k Damage
  • 25 Range
  • 5.82s Cooldown
  • 0% Crit

Upgrade 7 ($800 cost)

  • 136k Damage
  • 25 Range
  • 5.82s Cooldown
  • 0% Crit

You’ve probably noticed that the cost of upgrading is pretty low for 5, 6, and 7. This is pretty much an interlude for what’s to come: the introduction of Black Flames!

Upgrade 8 ($45k cost)

  • 207k Damage (another huge increase)
  • 28 Range (went up too)
  • 8.73s Cooldown (this too)
  • 0% Crit
Black flames in Anime Last Stand
AMATERASU!

This is where it gets saucy! With Upgrade 8 comes the unit’s most devastating attack, known as the Black Flames. It’s an AoE attack that surrounds all opponents in crazy obsidian flame. At this point, you can still upgrade the Evolved Crow one more time:

Upgrade 9 ($55k cost)

  • 253k Damage
  • 28 Range
  • 8.73s Cooldown
  • 0% Crit

So, there we have it! That would be the Evolved Crow’s maximum potential. Pretty great, right? Oh, before I forget, let’s have our Idol cast her buff!

Final range in Anime Last Stand

As you can see, the range has been buffed to 32.2. That would be the limit of Evolved Crow’s range!

Evolved Crow’s place in the Meta

Now, this is where we talk about the unit’s place in the meta. Overall, the amount you’ll be spending on a single unit if you upgrade all the way is 126k$. That’s not too bad an amount overall, but it’s still a huge chunk of change.

That said, you can only have two Evolved Crows on the battlefield. This limits the overall usage, which I understand because the devs are trying to balance things out. The unit starts out with incredible range, but he loses that once you’ve upgraded him enough times.

What he gets in return is the Giant Fire Slash, and then finally, the Black Flames. It’s extremely powerful, but the cooldown leaves something to be desired. As far as what this unit can do for the meta, when boosted with Idol he gains a range boost. Due to the incredible power, he’s still a really useful unit. Comparatively, the unit does a good job overall. You’re going to need this best character tier list (Update 3) as well!

If you want my advice, use the units you want. The important thing is that you have fun, and sometimes the best thing is to win with the units you want!
