Hades 2: Moon Stone Axe Build Guide

Hades 2 is a roguelike action RPG that is based on Greek Mythology. You can currently get the game from Steam (Early Access). It will probably come to consoles as well later on. This game has a couple of decent weapons that you can use and make your builds around them. This guide will be talking about the Moon Stone Axe and a really powerful Build for it. Hades 2: Moon Stone Axe Build Guide

For this Build, you are going to need the Moonstone Axe. If you haven’t unlocked it yet, then you can do so automatically at the Crossroads. After getting the recipe, you need to craft it. This Build will be geared towards the Omega Attack (the one where you spin around with the axe) of the Moonstone Axe. With this Build, you will be able to spam that attack and cause a lot of damage in a wide area.

Boons Required for this Build

Following are the Boons that you will need to make this Moonstone Axe Build:

Psychic Whirlwind

• This Boon will allow you to use other attacks and Special attacks when you are spinning around with the Omega Attack.
• You already cause a lot of damage with the Omega Attack but with this, you can cause even more.
• You can get this Boon from Daedalus Hammer.

Nova Strike

• With this Boon, your attacks will deal more damage in a larger area.
• This is very important for the Moonstone Axe.
• The amount of attack damage increase you receive depends on the rarity:
  • 40% attack damage if Common.
  • 50% attack damage if Rare.
  • 60% attack damage if Epic.
• You can get this Boon from Apollo.

Hearth Gain

• This Boon will reduce your Max HP by 20% but will give you Magick Restoration in exchange.
• With this Boon, you will not have to worry about your mana. By the time you stop spinning from your Omega Attack, your mana will already be full.
• The amount of Magick Restoration you receive depends on the rarity:
  • 7 Magick recovery every second if Common.
  • 10 Magick recovery every second if Rare.
  • 13 Magick recovery every second if Epic.
• You can get this Boon from Hestia.

Gale Force

• When you use your Cast, it will create a Binding Circle with a Cyclone.
• The Cyclone will cause the following amount of damage base on rarity:
  • 4 damage every 0.25 seconds if Common.
  • 8 damage every 0.25 seconds if Rare.
  • 12 damage every 0.25 seconds if Epic.
• This Boon will give you the chance to charge your Omega Attack when the enemies are taking damage from the Cyclone.
• You can get this Boon from Demeter.

Arctic Ring

• Your Cast will repeatedly do damage in the area and will now also inflict Freeze on your enemies.
• The damage done will depend on the rarity:
  • 10 damage every 0.5 seconds if Common.
  • 15 damage every 0.5 seconds if Rare.
  • 20 damage every 0.5 seconds if Epic.
• This Boon combined with the Gale Force will make your Cast pretty powerful.
• You can get this Boon from Demeter.

Weed Killer

• Your Omega Attack will now deal more damage at the expense of using 10 More Magick.
• The amount of Omega Attack damage increase you get will depend on the rarity:
  • 50% more damage if Common.
  • 75% more damage if Rare.
  • 100% more damage if Epic.
• This will take your Omega Attack to the next level and you will be able to cause an insane amount of damage. And you do not even have to worry about the extra Magick consumption because of the Hearth Gain Boon.
• You can get this Boon from Demeter.

Dress

If you are lucky enough, the following Dress will also work really well with the Moonstone Axe:

Lavender Dress

• This will give 30 Armor and will make you Channel 40% Faster.
• You will be able to charge your Omega Attack pretty fast with this which means you won’t have to get away from enemies to charge up.
• You can get this Dress from Silken Fineries.
