Doors finally got its Floor 2 update, and with it comes a whole lot of new content. This includes an entirely new location, but also a couple of badges that you can acquire through very vague instructions. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get the Lost in Translation badge, which you probably won’t be able to accidentally complete at all.

How to Get Lost in Translation Badge & Achievement

First, you will want to start a normal run at the Hotel. Just play the game normally and survive all the way until you reach the 100th floor. Along the way, you need to find a candle.

Candles can spawn in almost any floor, so just search every container that you run into until you get one. You might also be able to buy one from the shop, but there is no guarantee you’ll find one this way.

Just try your best to reach floor 100 while having a candle with you. That is all you need to keep in mind for this entire achievement, at least up until you actually make it that far.

If you are struggling to make it that far, consider checking out our guide on how to get free revives in Doors. With at least one of these on hand, you can drastically increase your chances of making it to the 100th floor even if you get caught out once.

Once you make it to the Electrical Room, which is what floor 100 is referred to as, you must then pull the lever in order to open the large gate and activate the Figure monster. Obviously, you will want to hide first to avoid certain death.

Immediately after the cutscene, run away and find a wardrobe that you can hide in. There should be a lot of them scattered around this floor.

Before you continue, it should be noted that for this badge, we don’t actually need to do the mechanics of this floor unless you haven’t completed the Hotel yet andplan on continuing all the way to the Mines.

Once the coast is clear, leave your hiding spot and then run all the way back to the gate where the Figure first appeared. At the staircase, you will want to go down.

Just keep following the steps leading downwards and you will find a gate that is partially open. From outside, you should be able to spot a blue glow already.

Enter this room and you will find the rift, which is just a pocket of blue energy floating in the air. From here, hold the candle and then approach the rift.

While holding the candle, you will now have to hold E when you get the option to do so. This will replace whatever item was floating in the rift with your candle, turning it into an item referred to as either the Guiding Light or Possessed Candle.

After you have done this, you should get the “Lost in Translation” achievement as well as the badge on your actual Roblox account. On top of that, you can also reclaim the candle from the rift.

This is basically an upgraded version of the candle with the exact same functionality. However, the main difference is that it does not need to be lit as it will always be on at all times. It also lasts much longer than the normal candle and emits a distinct blue light.

If you plan on proceeding straight through to the Mines area after getting this badge, then this light source will prove to be very useful. And that is pretty much all you need to know for this achievement, as well as what you actually get out of doing it!
