Dragon Soul: Where to Find All Shattered Orb Locations

Dragon Soul has just gotten another huge update recently, which means a whole bunch of new stuff for Dragon Ball fans sink their teeth in. Among the latest additions are a whole lot of Shattered Orbs or Souls that you can find all around the different maps. In this guide, we will be talking about what they are and how you can find them!

Where to Find All Shattered Orb Locations

First of all, what exactly are Shattered Orbs / Souls? Well, as you would expect, they appear to be a bunch of souls that have been destroyed, which is why you need several of them to form a single one.

Every time you manage to find four Shattered Orbs / Souls, they will be converted into a Dragon Soul Spin. The only thing to keep in mind is that spinning this way will also have the worst rates, as confirmed by the developer.

The plus side to looking for these is that they are completely free and reset every single day. This means that you can get free spins by just logging in daily and going back to each of the locations that we share here.

It should be noted that the developers claim that there are 33 Shattered Souls or Orbs to be found throughout the world. However, we are only able to cover a slightly limited number of these as some have either not been discovered yet or just completely bugged.

Finally, we are also unsure of their spawn chances. For some reason, many players, including myself when I checked the first zone, cannot seem to find most of them. This might imply that they don’t always spawn, among other possibilities.

Region #1 – Jungle Island (Earth)

First up, there are a handful of Shattered Souls that you can find on Jungle island. The orbs can be found mostly out in the open in various points of interest. They can be found in the following areas:

• Shattered Orb #1 – Inside the large cave just behind a bunch of low level mobs near the spawn area. Some claim that it’s bugged, but you actually need to do the low level quest here and beat the boss. The orb is actually a part of it.
• Shattered Orb #2 – Behind a waterfall at the initial spawn area. This one is actually bugged and is currently unobtainable when I checked. Might have been hotfixed and moved by now.
• Shattered Orb #3 – Inside the level 45 cave, at the leftmost corner of the zone. It is hidden behind a bit of terrain.
• Shattered Orb #4 – This last one can potentially be found under the wooden steps at the port area by the sea.

Region #2 – Great Plains (Earth)

Moving on to the level 80 and above zone, we can potentially find a couple of Shattered Orbs here. And just keep in mind that, if they don’t show up there, remember the note above and wait for more word from the developers.

• Shattered Orb #1 – The first one can be found under the curved bridge with some bamboo beneath it.
• Shattered Orb #2 – For the second orb, simply look towards the small island on the sea near the previous orb’s location. Break the largest tree that you can find there, and the orb should reveal itself.

Region #3 – Rad Ribbon (Earth)

Next is the level 200 and above zone, Rad Ribbon. Once more, there are two confirmed spots for this region, which are the following:

• Shattered Orb #1 – The first one can potentially spawn behind the middle window of one of the buildings at a corner of the compound. If there is no prompt to pick it up when you approach it, then there is probably no orb inside.
• Shattered Orb #2 – Another orb can spawn on the branches of a large tree at the edge of the island. The example below can be found at the tallest tree that you can find.
• Shattered Orb #3 – There is a potential spawn inside one of the buildings within the compound. Check each doorway that you can enter and see if it’s there.

Region #4 – City (Earth)

Next up, the level 500 and above City region has a bunch of orbs to collect too. Starting from the spawn location, the first possible spawn is already within reach.

• Shattered Orb #1 – Go to the coastline just under where all the mentor & quest NPCs are. There, you will find some rocks that are actually destructible. Just dig your way through by attacking the highlighted ground until the orb shows up.
• Shattered Orb #2 – For the other one, go back to the city proper and fly up the tallest orange building. On the rooftop, the Shattered Orb can potentially spawn right in front of the door.
• Shattered Orb #3 – There is a spawn location somewhere behind the Boku Black boss arena. Fly outside of it and check the rocks by the water until you find a small cave that you can enter.

Region #5 – Grand Patrol Outpost (Earth)

Next is the level 900 and above region called the Grand Patrol Outpost. These ones are all hidden in a bunch of caves, with one being a bit of a secret location.

• Shattered Orb #1 – At the snowy part of the map, you will find a rock formation beside the igloos. There will be a small crack on it that marks a fake wall that you can run into, where you will find a potential orb spawn location.
• Shattered Orb #2 – From the previous location, which is where the King Yeti boss spawns, you should then fly to the water below and look for a small hole leading into a secret facility. An orb can spawn on the ceiling, so just look up once inside.
• Shattered Orb #3 – At the cave by the beach, you will see a large pillar in the middle of this area. Break it with your attacks and the orb might just show up.

Region #6 – Power Tower Island (Earth)

Power Tower Island is another level 900 and up area that you can explore, and it has a couple of possible Shattered Orb spawn points. These are the following:

• Shattered Orb #1 – First, head over to where Mama Yeti is. You don’t have to buy anything from her, just destroy the ceiling of her cave. This will reveal a relatively large open area with a possible orb spawn at one corner.
• Shattered Orb #2 – Behind the large red tower on this island, jump down to the bottom of the cliff and walk alongside it until you find a hole in the wall. Inside, you will find another secret lab sort of place, and the orb can be found near the ceiling.

Region #7 – East City (Earth)

Heading up to the level 980 and up East City, we can find another pair of possible orb spawn locations. They are pretty easy to find, so just check the following spots:

• Shattered Orb #1 – Check the buildings under construction that are near the spawn location of Android 21. If you are unsure of where that is, we actually have a guide on where to find Android 21 that will help you find it, among other things.
• Shattered Orb #2 – Next, head over to the East City Crater where you can fight Nappa. Right behind Nappa’s arena will be a whole lot of destructible terrain. Just break as much of it as you can until you (hopefully) find an orb hiding underneath.

Region #8 – Ape Wasteland (Earth)

Going back down to the Ape Wasteland, there are actually a couple of possible spots there. These are very easy to find. Simply check the following areas:

• Shattered Orb #1 – There is a potential spawn just behind the spawn area. Fly around the coastline and you should see it out in the open if it spawned in the server.
• Shattered Orb #2 – The next one is at the large palace-like structure. Just run around at the base of the steps and you should eventually stumble into a small hole in the ground where the orb can be seen.

Region #9 – Frozen Village (Earth)

Next up, head over to the Frozen Village, which is a level 1650+ zone. Here, we will find at least three known spawn locations for orbs, which are at the following:

• Shattered Orb #1 – Near the spawn area will be a curved bridge. Just check under it and there may be a free orb up for grabs there.
• Shattered Orb #2 – This next spot is actually really close to the previous one. Just check under the trees along the edge of the village and you might find yet another orb.
• Shattered Orb #3 – For the last one, fly around the outskirts of the village. You should be able to spot one somewhere behind the buildings & trees near the edge of the cliff they are on.

Region #10 – North Pole (Earth)

The next set of possible locations of these orbs can be found at the North Pole, which is around the same level as the previous region. Here are the possible spots so far:

• Shattered Orb #1 – First up, just head over to the Boku Black vendor, who is hiding in a secret cave that you can break through. The orb should be right beside him if it spawned in the server.
• Shattered Orb #2 – Finally, there is a secret cave somewhere near the Brolo boss arena. Just fly around until you see a suspicious patch of snow with a darker color. Fly inside and look around the cave to see if the orb spawned there.

Region #11 – Port Prospera (Earth)

Finally, the last known set of orb spawn locations can be found at Port Prospera. These aren’t really hidden, so you might just stumble into them accidentally. Either way, here are the potential spots:

• Shattered Orb #1 – On some light brown soil just beside the beach. It is possible for this one to bug out and become invisible, but the prompt to pick it up should still appear if ever.
• Shattered Orb #2 – The next one can be found just under the wooden structures at the actual port. Similar hiding spot as the one in the Jungle earlier.
• Shattered Orb #3 – Check in between thetwo land masses connecting the tall cliff and the part where the previous orb’s location was. It is hovering over the water and should be easy to spot.

And those are all of the currently known locations of the Shattered Orbs. Based on community feedback, these locations might be changed or at least fixed eventually, so keep an eye out for new updates!

Again, we aren’t sure if they always show up in these spots, so if they aren’t there, just server hop or try to find the others instead. Otherwise, you can just play normally as you’re very likely to find them along the way while you are grinding.
