Are you looking to dominate your opponents in Sorcery? Knowing which Domain Expansions to rely on is key. In my tier list, I’ll break down the best and worst Domain Expansions in the game, so you can make the most of your choices before you start rolling. Whether you’re looking to tear your enemies apart with Yuta’s power of love (and swords?), overwhelm them with Sukuna’s relentless onslaught, or take a gamble with Hakari’s high-risk, high-reward buff, my guide has you covered. From the top-tier powerhouses to the downright disappointments, here’s your ultimate guide to the best Domain Expansions in Sorcery!
Best Domain Expansion Tier List
Choosing the right Domain Expansion can make or break your strategy in Sorcery. Some Domains offer game-changing advantages, while others just fail to deliver as a “supposedly game-changing” Domain.
My tier list ranks each Domain based on their overall effectiveness, utility, and game impact, so you can prioritize the ones that give you the best shot at dominating, before you start rolling!
S-Tier
- Yuta’s Domain Expansion aka Authentic Mutual Love – Straight-up busted. Once it’s activated, you get a long-duration domain with swords scattered around. If you hit the swords, you heal. If they hit the swords, they lose limbs.
- That’s right—one hit, and they’re losing an arm. Two hits? They can’t move. And if your opponent has no limbs, what are they gonna do? It’s brutal, and honestly, completely unfair. S-tier, no question.
- Sukuna’s Domain Expansion aka Malevolent Shrine – This one’s an absolute beast. Easily an S-tier domain. It’s arguably one of the best in the game, maybe even the best. You can use your moves, M1 people, and even heal with RCT while the domain is active.
- It’s a constant barrage of damage with a perfect shield—your opponent just can’t do anything. They’re perma-stunned the whole time.
- If you’re in range and wail on them, you could probably one-shot someone.
- The only downside is that they can walk out since there’s no barrier. But if you land it close? It’s game over. Easy S tier!
- (LOW S-Tier or HIGH A-Tier) Hakari’s Domain Expansion aka Idle Death Gamble – This one is tricky because it’s based on chance. If you land it, the buff is insane—you get infinite cursed energy and healing. But if you miss, well, it sucks. So, I’m putting it in high A tier because the chance aspect holds it back. But if we ignore that and assume you land it every time? It’s an easy S.
B-Tier
- Megumi’s Domain Expansion aka Chimera Shadow Garden – This one is solid—it gives you a 1v1 scenario with periodic stuns and a buff. It’s nothing too crazy, but that free stun lets you land some extra moves.
- It’s especially good in a 1v1, or even against a group since the stuns can help with crowd control. I’d say it’s better than Gojo’s, but it’s not on Sukuna’s level.
C-Tier
- Gojo’s Domain Expansion aka Infinite Void – I used to think this was the best in the game because it had a one-shot move that did 90% damage instantly. But that got removed.
- Now, it’s basically just a stun for 5 seconds, like a watered-down Malevolent Shrine. You can get some free hits in, sure, but that’s about it. It’s kind of disappointing, honestly.
- Let me know if I should swap it with Jogo’s and I’d do it in an instant, LMAO.
D-Tier
- Jogo’s Domain Expansion aka Mountain of the Iron Coffin – I’m sorry, but it’s easily the worst domain expansion in the game. For that reason alone, it’s going straight into D-tier. Everything else on the tier list has at least some use, but this? It’s just bad.
- All it does is inflict burn damage—that’s it! And the burn isn’t even that strong. You could literally out-heal it with Reverse Cursed Technique just by standing still. So yeah, if you ever get the option to spin for this, pick anything else.
Yuta’s Power of True Love Reigns Supreme!
Yuta’s domain expansion, Authentic Mutual Love, is without question the most powerful in Sorcery. With its long duration and devastating effects, Yuta’s domain expansion reigns supreme, cementing its place at the top of my tier list. If you’re looking to dominate, you can never go wrong with it! That said, I’m not 100% correct and you may disagree with some of the stuff I put in my tier list (Especially Jogo’s). Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
