Genshin Impact has just had a new update in the form of Update 5.1. With this update, you’ll be able to complete more quests, explore events and so much more. This includes new bosses that you can defeat for rewards.
One such reward that a lot of players have been trying to get is by defeating the Secret Source Constructor boss. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly where to find and defeat him – so you can get the core. Let’s dive in!
Secret Source Constructor Location
The Secret Source Constructor gives you plenty of rewards. But it is the Gold Inscribed Secret Source Core that is the most valuable of these rewards. This is because you can use it to ascend your Xilonen.
However, the boss is in a secret area and is quite challenging. So, before you proceed, be prepared for a battle.
Map Location
Starting off, you want to go to the following general area found in the Toyac Springs in Natlan.
When you zoom into the area, you should see a ravine that goes underground. However, the entrance to the ravine is in a specific area that can be found near the surface teleport.
So, we recommend you start from there as well. From there, you can drop down the ravine until you reach the underground area. Just keep dropping down any holes you find in the ravine to continue going deeper.
You’ll know you’re in the right place when you drop down and it says Ameyalco Waters.
Navigate ahead through the ravine and you’ll arrive at a teleport waypoint. Make sure to interact with it so that you’ll be able to spawn here directly.
Down below, you should be able to see the secret source constructor boss. Expect a fight when you go down there.
Boss Fight
After you drop down and approach the constructor, it will start the boss fight. The Secret Source Constructor boss is incredibly challenging. This is because he has a lot of resistances at the start of the battle.
When his health starts going down, eventually he will go into his charging phase. In the charging phase, he will summon two pillars. You’ll have to hit the top of each pillar once in order to destroy them.
Unfortunately, there are only two characters that can get on top of these platforms, Kachina and Xilonen. So, we recommend you have these characters as it’ll make the boss fight much more manageable.
You’ll be able to use them to climb the top of the platforms and do an attack there.
After you defeat the secret constructor boss, you’ll be able to get plenty of rewards. This includes the Gold-Inscribed Secret Source Core, which most people are after. Use it to ascend your Xilonen to make her even stronger!
