Farming Simulator 25 encourages players to be patient so that they can grow all sorts of crops. But from time to time, you might want to go ahead and skip this waiting process. Luckily the game provides just the tool for this.

You can sleep in the game, which can help you skip time. So, let’s show you exactly how you can do this in this guide.

How to Sleep

Naturally, you will first need a house. Once you build yourself one, you can go up to it and you’ll find a hovering icon of a bed and 3 zs. Interact with this icon to put your character to sleep.

So, all you need to do is approach the sleep trigger and press “R.” You can also decide what time of the day you wish to wake up. After you’ve set that, there will be a short sleeping animation, and you wake up at the time you set.

To understand how time works in the game, you can view the calendar. You’ll learn that sleeping for a day will skip one month. This means if you sleep in August, you’ll wake up in September and the third day would be October.

The purpose of the sleep feature is to essentially speed up time. Especially if you’re done for the day and you’re ready for some progression, you can sleep and have your crops ready or you can take on some other tasks on a fresh new day.

In this way, you always have the option to skip ahead when you do not want to wait for certain seasons. Now go ahead and rest up!

When you plant crops, we highly recommend that you get rid of stones as they can damage your machines. We go over this in our how to remove stones guide.
