Dandy’s World has finally released its Christmas event update that features a bunch of limited time content. This includes new Toons, Twisteds, Trinkets and so much more to try out. Many players have been finding these new toons incredibly fun.

So you may be wondering what the best way to use these toons is. Not to worry, we have you covered! In this guide, we’ll be showing you the best builds for all the Christmas Toons. Without further delay, let’s get into it!

All Christmas Toons Best Builds

There are a total of 4 new Christmas Toons that were added to Dandy’s World with this month’s Christmas update. They are only available for a limited time, so we recommend getting them as soon as you can during the event.

They will only be available later on at the next Christmas event. In this guide, we’ll be looking at how each of these Toons works and what the best Trinkets and builds are for them.

Rudie

Rudie is an all round Toon with three star stats across the board making him incredibly well balanced. This makes him the perfect starter Toon for this Christmas event, on par with Boxton and Poppy except he is better than them.

This is because of his ability, Antler Charge, that allows him to quickly dash forward in a dash for a short time. As a result, he can dash away to safety, as long as you do not run into someone!

This ability has a short cooldown too so we strongly suggest you use it to move around faster on the map so you can travel, do machines and gather items.

Since he’s so well-rounded, you can really go for any build with him. However, the play style that works best for him is extracting or rounding up Twisteds for other Distractors.

So, there are two Trinket builds that you can use for Rudie which are:

  • Pink Bow and Vee’s Remote
    • Increases his run speed and allows him to complete Machines faster
  • Pink Bow and Blue Bandana
    • Alternative for new players who only have starter Trinkets.

Ginger

Ginger is Cosmo’s cousin and works quite similarly to her as a Support Toon with a very similar ability. But, overall, Ginger is much better having a longer range and better stats. The only thing that makes Cosmo better is that her ability has a lower cooldown.

For Ginger’s playstyle, you really want to prioritize getting Health Kits and Bandages so that you can heal your teammates. Her ability, Baked With Care!, allows her to take a heart from Ginger and give it to her teammates, just like Cosmo but with a bigger cooldown.

We recommend using Ginger’s ability to help fix early mistakes made by teammates since she can start healing from Floor 1. In this way, the other players can then save their own heals for later more dangerous situations.

But make sure you only use them for Distractors or Support Toons that are usually in dangerous spots and need them.

However, unlike Cosmo, Ginger can actually do some extracting as well since her stats aren’t terrible for that.

So, for Ginger, we recommend using the typical build that you would run on Cosmo like:

  • Sweet Charm
  • Vee’s Remote
  • Speedy Shoes.

Avoid using Ghost Snakes In A Can for her as Sweet Charm is better overall for her stats.

Coal

Coal is the newest Distractor Toon having four star speed and stamina. However, Coal has a really huge hitbox which makes distracting a bit harder. While she isn’t the best distractor, her ability, Scout, is really strong.

This ability allows Coal to highlight all the items for all the Toons on a floor for 10 seconds before going into cooldown. This ability is great for those players trying to farm for Mastery, farm Ornaments or see certain items that are left behind.

We recommend using this ability at the end of each round so you can see any leftover items. Who knows, finding a Health Kit can save your friend in the next round.

For her Trinket build, we recommend using the following ones:

  • Speed Shoes and Dog Plush
    • Gives her even more speed to counter her hitbox
  • Ribbon Spool and Clown Horn
    • Gives her more speed.

If you’re still having trouble using Distractor Toons, best distractor guide has you covered!

Bobette

Bobette is a Main Toon which means that she comes with two hearts and two abilities. Her first ability is Precious Packaging which is an active ability. It allows her to turn into a Present and become invincible for 8 seconds. During this time, she cannot move.

Her second ability is a Passive known as Festive Aura. This is a radius around Bobette that passively gives Toons around her 50% faster stamina regeneration. You can also give stamina in Present form allowing you to help teammates in dangerous situations.

You also use this ability through safe walls, which can help your Toons out even if they are not directly in contact with you.

Since her abilities are really good, it makes her quite versatile in terms of builds. Here are some Trinket builds that we think suit her a lot:

  • Pink Bow and Vee’s Remote
    • Increases her run speed and allows her to complete machines faster
    • Pink Bow is especially good on her since she has five star stamina
  • Diary and Pink Bow (or any other speed Trinket)
    • This is an experimental build that works best when you have a Goob or Looey distracting
    • You can give them additional stamina with your Festive Aura while remaining hidden from Twisteds
    • Not as good as the first build, but useful in certain situations.

That’s everything you need to know about the best builds for the new Christmas Toons making their way to Dandy’s World. Of course, we always encourage you to experiment with builds that might suit your own specific style. And be sure to get these Toons before the limited time event is over!
