There have been changes on how you can Catch or Engage as Awakening Hashashin. There will be a set of spells that you can use in a certain way in order to do so. In this guide, we will be helping you out with the basics. Let’s get started.
How To Catch/Engage As Awakening Hashashin – BDO
We will start and go with each skill one by one and this is how you can understand this awakening the best.
Purge
First of all, you will need to do a Dash then Left Mouse Button and end it with a holding on the Left Mouse Button + Dash. You can rotate the screen around and keep surrounding your enemy. Try to get as much range as possible for the maximum hit.
Purge + Sandslicer are unprotected skills. Not only that they will be also very hard to track and guard against because of your constant dashing around and around. That means you will need to use it like this:
- Range Classes
- Stay at Max Range
- Purge to be followed by a protected skill CC
You can also do it in this style:
- Ridge Reaver – shift + rmb
- Silent Breach – space
- Piercing Tornado – w + rmb
- H.O. Defiance – f
- H.O Death – shift + f
- Dash
Don’t forget that with this skill Air Attacks do significant damage more. So you can use the air and jumping to your advantage to get the most possible damage out of your strikes.
Hourglass of Death
You can do this sort of strike
- Haladi Assault with W + F.
- Then you can do Purge with Shift + LMB.
- Ridge Reaver – Shift + RMB
- H.O Defiance – F , will CC
- Dashing – does not apply
- Piercing Tornado – W + RMB, the CC of HoD does not apply
Sin Splitter
This is one of the best skills in this whole entire kit. You will want to use this the most and you’ll see a very big difference in all of your combat situations. Most of the time it is forgotten by the players.
This is the best skill for 1v1 situations. No matter how much tough of an opponent you have it is going to take you out of bad moments all the time. If you rotate the skill you will change where the skill to activate. So simply be using it like a dash and go from side to side until your opponent gets tired of looking for you.
This is a skill that can pierce Foward Guard and even CC the target with each hit. The best usage for it is right after the Ensnaring Sand ability. You will trick your opponent because of the long animation the Sand ability that has, only to follow it up with a Sin Strike!
Piercing Tornado
This ability is extremely useful. The main usage of it is because it can do CC on every hit that will impact on your enemies. You can do it by pressing:
- Shift + Z > W + RMB
- Shift + Z > W + RMB > Shift + F
Make sure to cast it around your enemy and then proceed to just dash around and around your target by using your skills. This way you’ll get him slowed, dazed, and confused.
There are also very useful other skills that you can use too:
- Arid Assault
- Collapse
- Hourglass of Defiance
- Grab!
- Slicer Rupture
- Mirage / Retribution
