As an anime tower defense game, Anime Final Strike on Roblox features a range of units you can add to your team to clear waves of enemies. With the recent Update 0.5, the game has more units and it can be confusing to decide which unit you should summon for in Banners. After all, with the the game being relatively new, new players will not have a proper grasp of how the meta works. So, to help you out, we have prepared a tier list of the units so you can see which ones you should be trying to get. Without further delay, let’s get into it!
Best Units Tier List
There are 43 units in Anime Final Strike as of this point that we’ll be looking at ranking from S Tier to D Tier. Keep in mind that I’ll be looking at the meta but also going with my preferences. Just because a unit is in a lower tier, does not mean they are bad – as they can still be usable in the early stages.
Of course, the main thing is to have fun and you should go for units that suit your play style and team composition. With that said, here is the best units tier list for Anime Final Strike!
We also added some meta units added recently as part of Update 0.5 to the tiers.

S Tier
These units are the best of the best – easily game changers. If you’re summoning, these are the units you are aiming to get.
- Vesh is a secret unit with fast cooldowns and massive area damage. He is consistently reliable in any game mode.
- Akoza hits hard and fast, making him one of the best mythical units for both early clears and long fights.
- Yuneko is a top tier support unit that boosts your economy. This makes her essential for dealing with late game scaling – and if you’re trying to go for leaderboard runs.
- Ichiru Masked focuses on powerful single target damage. He becomes even stronger when evolved into his secret form.
- Komodo (Sun) is one of the latest units added with the update. He is easily the best unit in the game because of insane DPS.
- Tobito is a solid meta support unit providing some great damage buffs for every unit you have.
- Naroto (Sage Master) works well as both a solid DPS and meta support unit. His buffs in particular are just insane.
A Tier
These units are strong picks that perform well across most of the game modes in Anime Final Strike.
- Ulquiora shines with burst damage and works especially well with units like Akoza.
- Sasoke (Hebi) attacks quickly and improves a lot after evolution – hitting both groups and single targets.
- Fire Hashira delivers stable fire damage from long range – ideal for extended battles.
- Ice Admiral is great at slowing enemies with water based stuns, useful for longer stages.
- Namu is a solid support unit for your team, especially if you can’t get your hands on Yuneko.
B Tier
These units are decent and will help you progress through Anime Final Strike – but not dominate.
- Low is an affordable Epic support unit. He is a helpful unit in the early stages but not much beyond that.
- Takashi is a balanced Epic, who is great for completing story missions. However, he struggles in the Endless Modes.
- Vejita Super starts off strong with good burst damage – but his AoE falls short later on.
- Naroto (Teen) is cheap and reliable for early waves but can’t keep up in the late game.
- Acu works well in some team compositions but doesn’t hold up in the current meta.
- Kaziru has average AoE and easy to evolve, but his power caps early.
- Etashi is versatile for beginners. But if you look at his stats, they aren’t anything special.
- Black Roku does well in the early to mid game stage. However, stronger units quickly surpass him.
- Mehawk is a legendary unit with long range and niche uses – especially for specific bosses.
- Enorai brings above average elemental DPS to the table – but struggles against single enemies.
C Tier
These units are a decent option but their usefulness is either limited, or quite situational.
- Gara is a solid option for the mid game if you rely on elemental attacks, but doesn’t scale well.
- Ichiru (Bankei) performs well early on but lacks strength towards the later stages.
- Alligator is a good unit for clearing waves, but he is weak against bosses.
- Wind Hashira brings strong range and decent damage, though he is very team dependent.
- Dark Beard can be effective during the mid game, but starts to fall off later on.
- Froza offers good crowd control if you set him up right, but he tends to lose value in longer matches.
- Black Leg is a top tier support unit when it comes to rare units – but quickly fades when you reach the end game.
- Magma Admiral is a fire based AoE unit that works really well in fire teams – but he weakens over time.
- Boar Beast is great for dealing with single targets since he’s quite fast against them, but can’t handle groups well.
- Zeni is a good Epic starter unit if you have the right traits, but has poor late game scaling.
D Tier
These units are mostly useful in the early game of Anime Final Strike but quickly fall behind as you progress.
- Roku is a basic rare unit that works well for your initial missions but quickly becomes useless later on.
- Sniper King has pretty long range but low impact. His damage and scaling are both lacking.
- Blossom is a unit that can assist you at the start but struggles without strong teammates.
- Ruffi is a beginner unit that has poor synergy with other units. Additionally, his growth is also weak over time.
- Ichiru in his rare form is quite average and he has better versions available in the game.
- Ronin Z is pretty easy to unlock at the start of the game but offers very little use in the long run.
- Sasoke, as a rare pick, can help you out early on. However, he isn’t worth keeping long term.
- Naroto is a solid unit at the start for getting through the first few chapters, but that’s about it.
- Rukia deals too little damage to be viable in the tougher game modes.
- Vegeta is a quick option as an attack unit at the start, but gets outclassed rapidly.
- Wamcha has a small AoE and low speed which makes him unreliable against faster waves of enemies.
Final Thoughts
That’s everything you need to know for the best units tier list in Anime Final Strike. Hopefully, this will give you an idea of what units you should be trying to get. If you’re just starting out, you can certainly go for the lower tiers since they’re solid for the early stages. However, as you progress, you want to start going for the higher tier ones. Of course, we strongly recommend you test out all high rarity ones as they might suit your team composition. Additionally, the game will add more units and evolutions which will likely change the meta as well!
