Tower of Fantasy: Void Rifts Guide

Big Enemies, big rewards!

Tower of Fantasy Void Rifts Guide

Playing MMO games can be quite tricky since you’ll most likely be playing with random people. These random people have their own lives and life circumstances so often it’s not weird to think that if you fail you’ll be wasting their time. This can be tough for some people especially those who are still new to the game. Some MMO communities like Final Fantasy 14 can be forgiving to new players and even help them out when they fail, but that’s usually the exception to the norm. In this guide, we’ll show you how to do Void Rifts so that you don’t bring your team of random people down.

Void Rifts Guide In Tower of Fantasy

Void Rifts are party-based dungeons that you can queue up to in Tower of Fantasy. This is usually done by players to do their daily Void Rift challenge to get their daily rewards. These Void Rifts can vary from time to time but usually are quite short depending on the party running it. Now you may be playing these Void Rifts with friends, if so, it’ll be much easier, but for most people, they’ll be playing with randoms and that’s where this guide will help you understand this game mode.

Party Composition

There are no hard requirements for characters you need to bring for Void Rifts. Of course, some characters can do things better than others so keep that in mind, and if you have then better use them. There are only two things that you need to worry about when going into a Void Rift:

The first thing is a Shield Breaker, characters like King or Meryl are great Shield Breaker characters. This is needed since there will be a lot of shields to break in these Void Rifts, especially the bosses. Breaking their shield as fast as possible is paramount to saving time running these Rifts.

The second thing you’ll need is either a healer character or a lot of food. There are plenty of great healers there like Nemesis or Coco so that you can keep your Party’s HP full at all times. Healing food is also great to have in tough situations.

Before you head to a Void Rift, you’ll first need to know what the Vulnerabilities are for the rift. Usually, this changes up the composition of the party’s weapons. For example, in the image above there is Frost Vulnerability. That means that bringing frost-type weapons into this Rift can help a lot for your party.

While fighting around the rift you might see some of these enemies with blue triangles on them or on the ground. These are buff items that you can pick up to get buffs that last the entire rift. So, it’s great to pick up as much as you can or defeat the enemies that you see have buffs on them.

These buffs can be seen in the buff screen to the lower left. It’s great to learn what these buffs do. Some of these buffs may not be good for you for example if you’re doing a lot of Volt damage and you get a buff that increases Frost damage. For situations like these, you can transfer buffs to teammates so that you can give them the bonuses they need. You’ll need to communicate with them so that you can maximize the buffs in the party.

Usually, Rifts have some side objectives that you need to do first before finishing. Often times these are 3 keys that you need to get from certain enemies. So, keep an eye out for them.
