Open world games often have some way to limit the player on what they can explore at the start. This is either to prevent the player from finishing the game too fast or to reinforce some kind of pace the developers want the player to follow. Often times this is done through leveled areas where enemies of a certain area can easily defeat you without the proper levels, while others hide sections of the game world through exploration, puzzle solving or story progression. In this Defog Central Region guide, we’ll show you how to unlock one of the regions in the map of Tower of Fantasy.
How to Defog Central Region In Tower of Fantasy
In Tower of Fantasy, there are a lot of things that the player needs to unlock in the world. Sometimes it’s the story, other times it’s locked chests or doors, other times its areas in the map. The game is an open world but it’s up to the player to open up that world. Now granted most of the places in Tower of Fantasy can easily be walked through without much problem, even if you haven’t unlocked the map for it yet. But it’s better to have to map to see the points of interest in the area.
Sometimes these areas need a certain upgrade to your character to go through without getting damaged by constant radiation. That item is your Suppressor.
No, not a gun suppressor, the Suppressor is an item that guards your character against radiation. You’ve probably noticed before when you’re going through an uncharted area of the map you get damaged by radiation. Upgrading your Suppressor will stop that from happening.
To Defog the Central Region, you’ll need to level up your Suppressor to 5 as well as getting the first Amplifier. Once you’ve done that, you’ll just find the NPC called “Brian,” an Aesperia Tower of Fantasy Server NPC. Talk to them to unlock the area.
