Video games often have puzzles in them for the players to solve. They can take many forms depending on the game. Action and adventure games, role-playing games and even first-person shooter games have some puzzles in them. Often times these puzzles are there to hide a reward that the player can get. Sometimes it’s there to hinder the player’s path just like enemies would. There are some games though that get quite clever with their puzzles, often adding to them mechanics that you usually don’t see in puzzles in the first place, like combat. In this Withering Zone Puzzle guide, we’ll show you how to solve a specific puzzle in Genshin Impact.
The Withering Zone Puzzle Guide For Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact has a lot of puzzles the player can solve in the world, from clockwork puzzles to following strange floating orbs of light. Often times these puzzles are found around the world for players to find out and try to solve. Other times though these puzzles are part of a quest, and in this particular instance, they are.
At one point in the story, you’ll be tasked to clear a Withering zone with Tighnari. Unlike most puzzles in the game, this puzzle requires combat so remember to bring your DPS characters and healers to solve this one.
You’ll need to Summon the Dendrograna using the plant like in the image below. This will let you attack the red glowing plants around the area that are making the withering effect on the place.
These plants can’t be attacked by normal light attacks. Instead, you need to use either Charged attacks or Aimed Shots to attack them.
Every time you attack the plant you’ll need to go back and get more Dendrograna before you try attacking the other plants again. Once you have attacked all the plants, you’ll then need to defeat the monster that comes out of the Tumor of the Withering, the large red glowing plant.
The enemy itself isn’t that difficult. After defeating it you’ll need to activate the Tumor of the Withering. This will clear the area of the Withering and finish the quest.
