Splatoon 3 is out and it has all of the fun of the previous games along with new additions for players to find out and enjoy! The Splatoon series has always been a big success in the 3rd person shooter genre and it doesn’t show any signs of stopping. The cute and simple aesthetic as well as the low skill ceiling can garner a lot of new players while the gunplay and high skill ceiling of the game will keep them in. In this guide we’ll show you how to tread heavily through Site 2 – Level 05 of Splatoon 3!
Site 2 – Level 05: Tread Heavily Walkthrough | Splatoon 3
This level in Splatoon 3 is the definition of a short and sweet level. You start the level riding the crab tank, which shoots ink. Let’s not get to why it’s called a crab tank if it shoots ink. It walks like a crab, thus crab tank.
Shooting ink into walls and rolling into it with the crab tank will make it roll up the wall. The following area on top will have a few enemies for you to defeat and a series of squares you need to shoot to continue the level.
Once all the boxes have been lit up, the gates will open to show a giant robot with blocks that you can shoot out with the crab tank.
Shoot as much as you can from the ground level. Proceed to the right side of the stage where you’ll need to do some platforming.
The platforming is simple enough. At the end of it is a pillar where you can boost up to the higher parts of the level.
Now all you need to do is shoot at the remaining blocks while dodging or destroying the missiles that fly out of the robot. Once the outer blocks are dealt with, the head of the robot will open. You’ll need to destroy the 4 head blocks.
After that continue to the next boost up and you’ll see the end of the level.
