The new EFT-like game has been out for a while and it’s Marauders. The game boasts a diesel-punk style of aesthetics where you fly space ships and loot and scavenge space stations filled with enemies and other players. You can even fight the ships of other players, or better yet, board and steal them for yourself. The game has a mixture of old and new weapons as well as old-style armor as well as newer ones. The gameplay loop is still the same though, go into a raid, loot and scavenge, fight and go back alive. In this guide we’ll show you how to make money in Marauders.
How To Make Money Fast In Marauders
Money is important in game just like how it’s important in real life. You’ll need them to buy a ton of guns…in the game I mean. Not only that but you’ll be going through consumables and that needs money as well so it’s always good to have a lot of it so your stash doesn’t look so empty. Here are some tips on how to get some easy money in the game.
Contracts
There’s a whole contract chain called Zero to Hero and it’s a great way to get used to contracts in the game. Not only that but you can get a lot of money from contracts. Some of these contracts can be easy like looting certain items, while others need a bit more effort like killing a number of enemies, but they’re usually worth it if you know what you’re doing. Contracts is a great steady income of money just as long as you remember to do them while in raids.
NPC Ship Raiding
From time to time, you’ll an AI ship that looks like the one on the image above that often shoots at other ships. You can board that ship and they’re filled with AI commandos that usually spawn with better gear. Just remember that these ships are often rare to spawn and when they do it’s often a hot target for other players.
Once you get in though there’s plenty of good loot there to sell or use yourself.
Zero-Risk Raiding
This method isn’t really the best way to get money in the long run, but if you’re strapped for cash you can go into a raid with nothing and the rust bucket. Inside you’ll usually see a couple of pistols and other gear that you can get for free. They’re not the best gear, but you can take them and use the escape pod to go back home you can sell them for easy money.
