Victoria 3 is the newest game and a title of Paradox Interactive that has been anticipated and waited for years to come. It is a very worthy successor of the amazing Victoria 2 but because it is still in its early days it does have its issues. In this guide, we will be talking about the Demobilizing Issue of it. Let’s get started on how to demobilize your army in Victoria 3.

Victoria 3 – How To Demobilize Your Army

This is a very frequent question that players are asking over and over again. When you are in a war, you will need to actually muster your army to be able to fight, attack or defend your lands. But even when you are inside of a war, sometimes you will want to maybe put your army down.

Well, the thing is, you aren’t able to Demobilize Your Army while you are in a state of war in Victoria 3.

This is a very big problem that the developers have not actually implemented in the game for some unknown reason. It is possible that it is a very big oversight and not overlooked by some of the game testers.

Once in a war, you will go into the Army Menu tab. Then you will need to activate the conscriptions. This will in term give you a lot of newly recruited conscripts. With time you’ll have an army at the ready.

When you go to the same option to actually turn off these conscriptions, you are able to shut them down. So they will keep working until the war is actually complete.

So if you want to actually be able to Demobilize your army, we strongly recommend that you are careful about just how many soldiers you will want to muster. If it was a small war that doesn’t require a stampede of soldiers, well then just conscript one area and you should be fine.

If you are in the middle of the war and you start bankrupting, which is never a good thing, the army will keep costing you a lot. Then you will just have to Capitulate. Those are the only options that we have right now.

We can only hope that in the future this matter will be taken care of by Paradox Interactive. And we will be able to actually put down and play without soldier number in the middle of the war. Until then, we just have to be patient.

That’s everything you need to know about Demobilizing your army in Victoria 3! We will be waiting for any news that will turn the tide of events for this problem. ItemLevel will be the first to let you know of any updates. Until then, stay tuned!
