Deep Rock Galactic is one of those games that is always fun to go back and play. That’s because the game has seasons and new updates regularly, adding new stuff players can play with and adding new challenges and enemies to overcome. It’s an ever-evolving game and even if you stop playing the game now, after a few months there’s going to be new stuff to come back to! Season 3 Complete Guide For Deep Rock Galactic
A new Season of Deep Rock Galactic is here and it’s filled with the plague! That’s right, there’s a big disease outbreak in Hoxxes and it’s the job of the dwarves to fix it. What do you mean it’s not a miner’s job to fix plagues? The sickness is called Rockpos, it has rock in the name and that’s why it’s the miner’s job!
New Weapons and Missions!
The first thing you’ll notice is that there are red areas in the mission selection screen. Those are areas have a Lithophage Outbreak, the newest warning introduced with the new season. This warning increases the mission rewards in that area by 50%!
Each new class also gets new goodies in Season 3 and that’s in the form of new throwables. There’s the Voltaic Stun Sweeper for the Scout, a homing boomerang that stuns multiple enemies. The Driller gets a Springloaded Ripper, a rotating blade bot that goes in a straight line, perfect with in tight tunnels so that it circles around. The Engineer gets the S.S.G. a grenade that contains 5 mini swarmer drones that attacks a single target or multiple ones. The gunner gets the Leadburster, which is basically a spinning shotgun of death the shoots bullets in a wide area!
New Plague!
When going to the infected missions you’ll notice that there’s now another objective and that’s Neutralizing Contagion Spikes. You’ll need to call in cleaning equipment that you need to use to remove the rockpox. You can also get rockpox, which accumulates and if it maxes out you’ll be immobilized as the rockpox slowly takes away your health!
That’s not the only new thing because when you’re doing missions there’s a chance that a Lithophage Meteor will go to your position. If that happens clear the area since it will kill you instantly! RnD really wants this thing so you’ll also need to collect it using specialized tools that you can call on!
