God of War Ragnarok is an action and adventure game that has three epilogues or game endings depending on how you will do through the whole game progress. Every decision you make in each crucial situation majorly affects the outcome of the story.
In this game, the three epilogues are namely A Viking Funeral, Defend Your Valor, and The Remnants of Asgards. We would really like to know what each of them has to offer us. However, we will just focus on A Viking Funeral for this guide.
How to Get A Viking Funeral in God of War Ragnarok
To start this, you have to go to the Shop in Freyr’s Camp and talk to Lunda. After the conversation, you will receive A Viking Funeral favor.
After you talk to each other, head to Sindri’s House through the Mystic Gateway.
Go to Raeb’s Tavern in Nidavellir
The first thing you have to do is to attend the funeral.
Go to this area in Nidavellir. From the position shown in the picture, head to the right and keep going forward and you will see a small door at the end of the path.
Enter this tavern and listen to the conversation inside. After all the conversation, approach Brok’s dead body on one of the tables on the side.
Head to the Funeral Location
The funeral of your friend, Brok, is located in the Sverd Islands. You can go there by stopping by Aurvangar Wetlands and crossing the sea through the docks.
From the Mystic Gateway, head to the left and you will see the docks.
Approach and interact with the gear to trigger the vehicle to move and bring you to the other island.
When you reach the island, you will see Lunda, Durlin, and Sindri in front of Brok’s remains there waiting for you and Freya.
The Ending
To trigger the ending, interact with Brok’s corpse. Kratos will carry the body and bring it to the boat the Lunda had prepared.
As Kratos puts down Brok’s body, your other friends will be moving closer and watching your last moments with the friend.
An emotional scene between Sindri and Brok will be shown as Sindri approaches Brok’s body.
After spending their last moments together, Kratos and Sindri will send off the Brok by pushing the boat together towards the sea.
To give respect to your friend’s body, Freya will shoot a burning arrow skyward that will land on the boat. A few moments after, Kratos will try to comfort Sindri. However, there will be tension forming between the two. Then Sindri will leave the group.
As the ending line, Mimir will say, A hole… gets bigger the more you take away.
