The new God of War game is here and it’s God of War Ragnarok. It’s been a fairly long wait but it’s all worth it. It released and it now has overwhelmingly positive reviews from everyone. The game is nothing short of amazing, with visuals, gameplay and story all melding together making a great game. The game continues and expands upon the Norse mythology setting but now with more open-world gameplay by adding more stories, more notable places in the mythology and so on. There are also dungeons filled with collectibles and in this guide we’ll show you where all the collectibles are in Applecore for God of War Ragnarok.
All Applecore Collectibles In God Of War Ragnarok
Reminder that some of the collectibles in this list can only be found after certain parts of the story, specifically the use of the spear and chisel that you can after Chapter 6 and Yggdrasil Rifts that only appear after Chapter 10.
There are a lot of collectibles you can find in God of War Ragnarok, some of them are lore pieces, others are things like treasure maps or Odin’s Ravens. Whatever they are, here are all the collectibles you can find in Applecore.
Legendary Chest #1
At the end of the “Jarnsmida Pitmines” you can find it in a cave where there are tracks. To the side is something you can interact with the chisel to show where the Legendary Chest is.
Lore #1
This one is after the blacksmith, go left and up the path to the wall pictured above. Destroy the wall and behind it is a lore piece.
Buried Treasure #1
After getting the lore piece, go outside and go right, jump the gap and open the door. Follow the path until you see some running water, as pictured above there’s the buried treasure. You can only get this if you have the Treasure Map from Nidavellir.
Lore #2
After getting the buried treasure, go forward and left to drop down a ledge, below is another lore piece.
Artifact #1
Now go back up the ledge and head and go forward following the path going up till you reach a wooden rope bridge. Go forward until you see a pile of debris blocking your way. Get a good angle to hit it from behind and blow it up to clear the way.
No go through the passage and turn left jumping the gap. When you land there may be enemies so clear them out first. To the right is a ledge that you can go to, and to the left is a door you need to go through. To the left is a ledge where you can find an artifact.
Nornir Chest #1
From the artifact before use the spear to get to the upper platforms. Once there you’ll find a Nornir chest and you need the spear to be thrown to all the runes and make it explore to open it. The first rune is down below pictured above.
Near the area where the chest is you can find a table with the other rune.
Finally there is some rocks that you can destroy further down the area where the rune is behind it. Make the 3 runes explode and get the chest.
Yggdrasil Rift #1
Near the last rune of the previous collectible is also a Yggdrasil Rift.
Artifact #2
This collectible can be found after advancing through the main path a bit. You’ll follow some rails to a jump, then a path going up and another jump to the left through a waterfall. To the left is some breakable rocks and behind it is another artifact.
Draugr Holes #1
To the right of where the previous collectible is a door, open it and behind it is a Dragur Hole.
Legendary Chest #2
The platform behind the Draugr hole is another Legendary chest.
Odin’s Raven #1
After solving the main waterwheel puzzle in the area, before you go through another door look to the left and you can find one of Odin’s Ravens.
Artifact #3
This one can be found after saving Tyr and getting separated from each other. Go down the path, up a ledge and to the left is a place you can squeeze through. Follow the path jumping a gap and to the right is a rock that you can destroy and behind it is another artifact.
Lore #3
Now go back the path you came but turn right, follow the path until you find a spear ledge that you can go up to. On top is the Demise of Dagestr.
Nornir Chest #2
Go further up and you’ll find another Nornir chest. To the left is two of the runes. To the right up some ledges is the 3rd rune. Destroy them all at once with the spear and claim your chest.
Congratulations you now know where all the collectibles are in Applecore in God of War Ragnarok, now go out there and try to find them all yourself!
