The new World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion just released and a lot of players are already talking about how this could save the MMORPG. We all know by now that Blizzard hasn’t had the best time this year, but as the year was ending they released Dragonflight which is a massive expansion to the game. There’s a new area to explore, a continuation of the story, a new race and even new flight mechanics with your dragons! Since it’s a new place there’s new quests as well and in this guide we’ll show you how to do the Hidden Hornswog Hoard.
Hidden Hornswog Hoard | WoW Dragonflight
Not all of the quests in the game are given by NPCs, some are hidden and you need to go do the quest yourself without following a checklist. One of these quests can be found near the Ruby Life Pools shown on the image below.
There you’ll find a Possessive Hornswog and a book next to it, you could also see that there’s a cave behind it, but you can’t really go through it unless you make the Hornswog move. The book next to it can show you the hints but for those who don’t like reading here’s how you remove this giant toad.
Step 1: Find Well-Preserved Bone
To the north is a Well-Preserved Bone on top of a tower of a broken tower, interact with it to go to the next step.
Step 2: Find Marmoni’s Prize
To the southwest is the next step, find Marmoni’s Prize, which is just inside one of the boxes behind a tent, look for a banana.
Step 3: Find Adventurer’s Lost Soap Bar
To the west is the next item, Adventurer’s Lost Soap Bar which can be found near the barrel in the area, inside a basin filled with water.
Step 4: Use the Items near the Possesive Hornswog
Now go back to the Hornswog and use the items near it, this will make a “Treat” that you can then throw at the Hornswog to make it move, giving you access to the hoard in the cave!
