There’s a new free game out there that is a combination of Minecraft and STALKER and it’s the aptly named Stalcraft. The game is an MMO version of STALKER with some Minecraft graphics here and there and you can either go around the zone alone or with friends. The game captures the zone’s bleak, oppressive and strange atmosphere and has some amazing guns for you to collect. Along with the guns are various items that you can use to trade for better gear and one of those items are Aluminum cables. In this guide we’ll show you where the best places to find Aluminum cables can be.
Best Ways to Find Aluminum Cable In STALCRAFT
Before you even try to go around the zone looking for cables you need to get yourself a metal detector. You can either buy one which isn’t worth it since the one you can buy is pretty bad, or you can get one from the main quest. We highly suggest you get the one from the main quest since it has better features like a monitor to help you on where to go.
Areas for Aluminum Cables
There are two areas in the zone that can best spawn Aluminum cables, each are dedicated to the two factions of the game. If you’re a Bandit, go to Agroprom and use the image above for the best places to go to. For the STALKERS you can go to the Dark Valley for your Aluminum cables.
When you’re in an area you can go around and wait for the sound to play that you’re near a cache. When you hear it, equip your metal detector and use the screen to find where it is.
The cache usually looks like a mound of dirt so look for that. Once you’ve found it you can then interact with it and there’s a chance you get Aluminum Cables inside!
Here are some general tips for the metal detector. You can charge it by “repairing” it in the generator next to the NPCs that usually repair weapons. You also don’t have to have it equipped all the time and just have it in your inventory. The sound it plays will still play when unequipped, just equip it when you’re near a cache to not waste battery.
