One important aspect of Hogwarts Legacy you shouldn’t ignore is the numerous potions you can craft. After all, they can provide a lot of additional benefits that can help you out in combat and other parts of the game.
As such, it’s in your best interest to take full advantage of this feature as it makes the game much easier.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to craft potions in the game.
Where to Craft Potions

You won’t be able to craft them from the start of the game. However, after you have played for a bit, you will then attend the Potions class.
This will show you how to break down ingredients, which leaves to use, and how to stir the cauldron. Essentially, it will teach you the basics, but you still need a place to craft the potions.
This is where Potions Stations come in. There are multiple stations spread throughout the map. There is one in the Astronomy Wing as pictured above.
How to Craft Potions

Now that you have found a Potions Station, you can start crafting. Of course, you’ll need the right ingredients depending on which potion you want to make. The station will show you a list of potions and their ingredients.
Simply mix the ingredients together and wait for a few seconds for the potion to finish brewing. Alternatively, you can just purchase them straight from shops throughout the world.
