Every time players progress through levels the game keeps on thinking of new ways to challenge the mind. This, of course, is an excuse just to make things more punishing as you go forth.

In Metroid Prime Remastered you are given a sporting chance of being able to advance without going insane through upgrades.

One of these upgrades would be the Morph Ball Bomb, you will need this while you’re navigating around the Chozo Ruins. But where can you find it?

Well, let’s look at the guide and find out!

How To Get The Morph Ball Bomb | Morph Ball Bomb Location | Metroid Prime Remastered

The Morph Ball Bomb doesn’t really do much to your enemies but contributes more to your platforming escapades. You will be needing this upgrade if you want to come close to getting the Ice Beam later when you backtrack into the ruins.

You’ll get your hands on the Morph Ball Bomb by defeating the Incinerator Drone, you can get to that room through the Burn Dome Access where a cutscene will shortly play upon your arrival.

The drone will send horizontal jets of flame your way, you can dodge these attacks by running away, jumping, or using your Morph Ball to simply duck underneath.

After nearly getting shish-kebbabed, the drone will let out two glowing red dots on the top of its head. Keep on shooting those to come close to ending the fight.

Be careful though as the drone will occasionally fire into the wasp nest above it, giving you another object to shoot at on top of all the dodging you have to do.

Once you get used to the pattern, you’ll eventually bring its health down to zero. The drone will fire into the hive one more time and destroy it completely before exploding, leaving you the Morph Ball Bomb.

See if you can get it for yourself, good luck out there!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
