Slimes in video games have always been more of a JRPG thing than a western RPG thing and they’re usually low-level enemies you kill in droves. Slime Rancher aimed to make these cute little things your pets instead and you get to make a little cozy slime farm and enjoy feeding these slimes as they jump around.
You can imagine how great that worked for the game that it was enough to make a sequel and now we have Slime Rancher 2! The game recently had a big update that adds a new place and in this guide, we’ll show you how to reach that place in the game!
How to Reach Powderfall Bluffs In Slime Rancher 2
Since Slime Rancher 2 is still in Early Access there are bound to be big updates that add new areas to the game.
The newest update is the Song of the Sabers patch and it adds the Powderfall Bluffs area along with a bunch of new slimes you can collect!
Of course, we’ll need to get there first so how do you do that? This is how you get to the new area.
There are a few things you’ll need to get first before you go exploring the new place. You’ll need the following items:
- Tabby Plort from a Tabby Slime (Feed them Meat)
- Boom Plort from a Boom Slime (Feed them Meat)
- Batty Plort from a Batty Slime (Feed them Fruit)
Now that you have all of those Plorts, you’ll need to go to the northern part of Ember Valley where it goes to the green part, but instead of heading there go left jumping into the platforms shown below.
Then follow the path until you reach the place with the waterfalls, you’ll then need to go inside the first waterfall to the left.
Once there follow the path until you reach the room shown below.
There are 3 Slime Statues and you need to launch the plorts into the right slime statue.
Once that’s done, the door on the ground will open and you can jump and follow the Icy path to the portal that leads to Powderfall Bluffs!
Congratulations you now know how to reach Powderball Bluffs in Slime Rancher 2, now go out there and try to go there yourself!
