I still remember hunting sharks in Assassin’s Creed Blackflag by using a spear or a harpoon it was the most intense gameplay because if I just miss one shot from it the shark will flee and I need to stock up some of the harpoons again and just keep on grinding until you kill it.
And having sharks in Sons of the Forest doesn’t seem far-fetched because there’s the ocean surrounding the map and sharks are scary to deal with so it’s better if we get rid of them and so today we’re going to guide you on how to kill Sharks in Sons of the Forest.
Hunting Sharks in Sons of the Forest
Hence, this is the location where we will go shark hunting. However, it would also be helpful if you prepared yourself with a handgun or a spear before you got into the water, just in case.
If you are unfamiliar with the location, turn on your GPS. We also have an interactive map for the Sons of the Forest that will make it easier for you to identify the location.
Simply keep swimming until you spot a lifeboat floating in the water, then approach it and interact with it so that your character can climb aboard.
Upon inside the lifeboat, you’ll notice a body lying there with something you need to interact with. Simply press “E” on the corpse to bring up what appears to be a tracker, and the Shark will then start to appear.
There is a handgun in the lifeboat as well, so arm yourself with it and kill the shark. If you have any other deadly weapons with you, though, you can use those as well; as long as you can kill the shark, it doesn’t matter what you use.
Take the items from the lifeboat before killing the shark because you’ll need them soon enough and the corpse won’t need them either.
Don’t ever leave the lifeboat! Simply keep shooting from a distance, and the shark will still be seen since its fin will be visible in the water and it is large enough to be seen from afar.
Once the shark has stopped moving for a time, it is definitely dead. If you want to approach it to get a closer look at its face, you can jump out of the lifeboat without having to fear it recovering and jumping on you.
And that’s how you kill a Shark in Sons of the Forest!
