When you think of a survival situation what’s the best tool that you can have in that situation? Some may say an axe or a gun, or even those fancy life straws that filter water for you to drink, all of those are valid choices. But if you want to look like the part of a surviving adventurer then a Machete is the weapon and tool for you, able to cut down whatever is on your way, fauna or foe.
In Sons of the Forest, you can get the machete in the game, but you’ll need to find it first! In this article, we’ll show you where to find this weapon and tool!
Sons Of The Forest – Machete Location
There are a lot of different weapons you can get in Sons of the Forest, from Katanas to Pistols, and let’s not forget the Machete. These weapons are scattered all around the island and it’s up to you to find where they are.
Some of these weapons can be easy to spot though and the tougher part is just getting to the location, the Machete is one such weapon.
To find the Machete you’ll first need to head to the northern parts of the map, there you’ll reach a beach.
Once you get there you’ll want to look for deflated lifeboats on the beach, because one of them has a Machete stabbed right through one of them. You can use the image below for reference.

The Machete is a great weapon and tool for surviving on the island so you don’t have to switch to a different weapon if you want to go back to resource gathering. We don’t want to use the Katana to cut trees now, don’t we?
