There’s always new things to look out for whether you’re a veteran of Old School RuneScape or a new player that’s been driven mad by curiosity whose now occupied with either mining or fishing. With how much love the community has for the old ways it’s refreshing to still see new things that are being added in.

Demonic Gorilla Guide 2023 – Old School RuneScape
Renditions of the Demonic Gorilla outside of OSRS really strike fear into the hearts of the thinking mind. They’re oversized brutes with wings who wish to see you die in the most gruesome way imaginable, you can fight against that by going through this guide to know your way around them more!
Dealing with Demonic Gorillas means having to have already completed Monkey Madness II and have dealt with Glough.
Now that they’re all over the place, you can freely kill them around the Crash Site Cavern while you’re doing your Black Demon Slayer Task for the slayer bonuses.
Demonic Gorillas are pretty powerful monsters, especially with their aggressive stats but you can still get around this if you have a Melee and Ranged setup as they have no defenses against these whatsoever.
They have an attack speed of 5 and use two different attacks to complement that. These would be its Boulder attack and can deal up to 40 damage.
Basically, a boulder will be dropped directly above where you’re standing. This gives you only a few seconds to get out of that tile if you value the 500k gold you’ll lose for dying needlessly.
The second attack is a normal standard attack between the three combat styles and can deal 31 damage. It also changes its attack styles if it ever misses you three times, count that and make use of your prayers if needed.
For preparations, you can use your royal seed pod and your stamina potion, once you’ve prepped those go to the Grand Tree to travel northeast into the caverns.
Before going in turn on your quick prayers and use your saturated heart if you have one, run to the middle room while dodging their tortured brethren, and remember to switch your protection prayer to whatever the gorilla is using.
