So you’ve finally got yourself the Onyx Annulet but can’t seem to take out the pretty rocks attached to it, surely removing them would be a simple process right? Wrong. It’s never easy when it comes to World of Warcraft, even if it involves shoving rocks inside weird places. If you’re looking to fit different gemstones into your new toys then you’ll have to stay in the Forbidden Reach for a little while longer!
WoW: Dragonflight – How to Pull Out Primordial Socket Stone
To make further adjustments to your amulet you’ll need to finish the Primordial Embellishment Quest first, which requires another visit back to the Zskera Vaults.
What you’ll be looking for will include two things: the Primordial Jeweler’s Kit and the Primordial Anvil. Hopefully, you have enough keys to make the trip worthwhile.
The first door you’ll be opening is guarded by two mobs, they’re easy targets and won’t give you any difficulties whatsoever, once you open the door a Vault Lurker will ambush you as well.
Deal with those obstructions and head over to the back of the room to get the Primordial Jeweler’s Kit. It’s next to the bookshelf, a rather large object that’s difficult to miss.
Now ride the bubble stream to get to the next floor, look at your surroundings, and check where the waypoint is sitting to find your next quest item.
Naturally, the Primordial Anvil will be waiting behind another locked door. Grab that and fly back to the Morqut Village and talk to Researcher Imareth to collect your rewards.
You can now freely yank out the stones attached to your Onyx Annulet without any more complications, sounds like too much work but it’s nothing a little bit of ale can’t fix.
