As you go about your daily life in Dredge doing business with peculiar and rather eccentric individuals along the islands you’ll come to notice that there are a few unmarked locations on the map that you haven’t explored yet.
Some of these locations house strange figures that seem to have a knack for speaking in parseltongue whenever you try to communicate with them. We’re talking about the Figure in Red, but there are others out there that you should be seeking out as well.
In this guide, we’ll show you what they want and how you can get it so weigh anchor and head northwards!
Figure in Red Guide | Dredge
There’s a total of four hooded figures along the map, all can be found by going either north, south, east, or west.
For now, head north of Devil’s Spine, there’s an unmarked island there over at L14 where you’ll see red riding hood sitting on some rocks. They take the whole “show, don’t tell” thing to a literal level since they just show you scrolls of what they want for dinner, yes it’s a fetch quest.
Their first request will be a Cusk Eel, yes they’ll ask for more once decide to lend a helping hand. Now head over to the ruins at N14 and search the area for any signs of Disturbed Waters.
There are plenty of air bubbles to go through but your chances are better by searching slightly further away from the ruins themselves.
Deliver that to the island where the red figure is and it’ll brandish a dagger your way and strike the eel without any second thought.
After that, he’ll pull out another scroll with a Sailfish on it.
You can find the Sailfish over at the Greater Marrow, specifically at the upper right corner of I8. The catch is six blocks in length so make sure that you have enough space in your inventory before getting one.
The man in the red raincoat will carve out its heart again once you bring it back and give you one final fish to catch.
This time it’s a Frilled Shark, it’s nearly in the same spot where you caught the Cusk Eel at P14.
Honestly, he could’ve told you this first before making your sail all the way down to the Marrow but hey, at least now you can catch it ahead of time!
The red castaway thanks you by throwing a book your way and will proceed to pray silently with the offerings that you’ve brought, and that’s what you need to do in order to finish the Figure in Red.
Now go out there and find the other three!
