You may have noticed that there plenty of areas that are still blocked in Honkai Star Rail. One of these places would be the Great Mine of Jarilo-VI. Naturally, you would think that there’s a way to get through all of this, and you’re right.
Finding the Mine Cart Parts in one of the sections of the Great Mine will take forever. Even with the Object Finder, you may not be able to find the exact locations of the parts you need. If you want to know how to access the other areas, give the guide a read to proceed further.
Search for Mine Cart Parts
Searching for the mine cart parts is one of the objectives of the main quest “Ones Fallen Into the Abyss.” In order to access the deeper parts of the mine, you need to find two in the current area you’re in. These are the places you would want to scan if you want to find the mine cart parts.
Let’s start next to the blocked off section. You can get here by walking all the way from the entrance or by using one of the Space Anchors. The first mine cart part can be found in a corner next to some rubble.
Use Findie the Object Finder once you get to this corner to unearth one of the mine cart parts.
Allow the Object Finder to finish scanning and a quest marker will shortly appear in the area you’re standing in. Investigate the marker for a bit of dialog and to progress to the next mine cart part.
Now that you have the first mine cart part, retrace your steps and go back to the previous section of the mine. The next are you’ll be searching is rather close to a fast travel point, making it easier to get to.
Approach the area that has the box full of gold shiny materials. Get close enough and you can use the Object Finder again to dig up another mine cart part.
After getting the second part, turn around and follow the tracks again. This will lead you back to the blocked path earlier.
With all of the mine cart parts in hand, interact with the mine cart. The screen will go black to hide the fact that the studio couldn’t animate this part of the quest.
This will put the mine cart back together. You can interact with it one more time to push it along the tracks and clear a path for your party. With this, you can now proceed deeper into the mines and find Oleg! While you’re still down here, you can also go on a treasure hunt!
