The 15 Skyview Towers in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom all have different way to access. For some weird reason, many of them have ended up locked from the inside and you have to find a way to unlock them. Usually, they include finding an unconventional way to enter the building to let the NPC enter and fix the terminal. In this guide, we’ll show you how to access and unlock the tower with ease!
Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower Guide
The Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower unlocks the surface map for the Death Mountain, Eldin Canyon, and Eldin Mountains. It’s located in the Eldin Canyon, hence the name, and it easily stands out as a tall building amidst the rocky hills.
The coordinates for the Eldin Canyon is (1641, 1190, 1368). It is located on a rocky hill and is easy to find. You’ll see an NPC in front of the tower named, Sawson. Like almost every other tower, this guy couldn’t go in because he’s been locked out. You need to find another way in to unlock the building.
If you paid attention to Sawson, the NPC, you’ll notice that he says the roof is now open. There are also “big chunk of old ruins” falling from the sky. To clarify, there’s no other entrance to this building but the roof.
And your first reaction was possibly trying to scale the entire tower. That actually works, depending on your stamina bar. Even if it’s a little short, there are small ledges where you can stand on to rest before climbing back up.
But another, probably more of a “intended” way in is by utilizing this rock here. This debris falls from the sky, from a level higher than the tower. Watch for this falling rock wait until it hit the ground.
Now climb on top of the rock and hit rewind on the rock. The rock will go back up and bring you to the sky way above the tower. Jump off and just glide to the roof of the tower. You will then fall all the way next to the terminal. Then you can unlock the door to the terminal just like that!
