Sea of Thieves: Hunt for the Argent Silver Key Voyage Guide

Are you ready for another treasure hunt? If so, then go hunt for the Argent Silver Key in Sea of Thieves. Be ready to solve riddles and sail through the sea in search of a key! Go solo or sail with your friends in this hunt.

In this article, I will help you find the Argent Silver Key to complete this voyage. Be sure to have your map and compass ready, because we’re about to go out on an adventure!

In order to start the hunt, be sure you have already completed the A Feathered Fortune Puzzle. I suggest that you finish this quest first, before starting the hunt for the Argent Silver Key if you haven’t finished it yet. However, if you’re done with the quest, you can proceed. Let’s begin with the hunt!

Setting Up For The Voyage

First, you need the voyage for the hunt. I got it from Larinna, which I found throughout any active Outpost across the sea. Talk to Larinna and access her stock. Find and choose the Hunt for the Argent Silver Key Voyage. I’ve purchased the voyage for only 0 gold! When you have the voyage, you can start the hunt!

Spawn a ship and head to the captain’s table and you can start the voyage using the table. As soon as you set the voyage, I want you to open your Quest Radial and then select the map. To see the quest, it is marked with an X, or should I say, X marks the spot! All you need to do now is sail to the location.

Solving The Riddle

When you reach the location, start digging on the location on your map to uncover the hidden treasure. The treasure is named Mysterious Journal. After picking it up, open your Quest Radial again then read the pages. You will solve a riddle. I will give you the clue, and that clue is we are looking for an island found in the Ancient Isle Region.

The clue will lead us to Lookout Point Island. Since the clue indicates that the island we’re looking for is pear-shaped. The only pear-shaped islands found in the Ancient Isle region are Lookout Point and Paradise Spring.

When you reach Lookout Point Island, I highly suggest you go to the west side of the island as it is indicated in the riddle. Then climb up the path on the right until you see a broken wagon. Dig near the wagon to uncover a Mysterious Missing Page.

Read the missing pages at the end. I want you to pay attention to the details. Take note of the sentences about the beach and green-trimmed boat that will point the way as shown below. I found the boat by the beach pointing to the west.

Let’s sail towards Shark Bait Cove. I would dock near Southwest Beach since the missing page indicated this is our starting point. Look for torches and candles as you make your way to the Northwest side of the island with 2 torches at the end of the beach. Equip the spyglass and look straight to see the next location. It is the Finest Trading Post.

Once you reach the Trading post, look at the quest board on the left. The 3 daggers will point the way to Old Salts Atoll, which is our next location.

After sailing toward Old Salts Atol, look for these rocks as shown in the picture below. Dig near the rock to uncover another Missing page. Then go to the captain’s quarter of the shipwreck near you. Find a hanging lantern and rope inside and look at the hole using your spyglass. There awaits the final island, called the Plunder Valley.

Finding The Argent Silver Key

We’re at the last few steps in finding the key. I suggest parking your ship at Southwest Beach. Use your compass for better navigation. You will go through the tunnel below a waterfall. From there head to Northwest Beach. Use your compass inside the cave for better navigation.

Standing at the cave entrance of Northwest Beach, look behind you to spot the 3 rope ladders leading up the mountain. Climb the ropes to find the beacon situated above the mountain.

Once you reach the beacon, look down and start looking for the two barrels found on the North side of the island as shown in the picture below. When you find it, head down to the barrels. This is the second to last step of finding the key.

When you reach the location of the two barrels. You will see a campsite as indicated on the final clue. To find the key, dig near the two barrels to uncover the Collector’s Chest. Open the chest to find the Argent Silver Key.

That’s it! You have completed the Voyage. Be sure to sell the key to the Gold Hoarders for that extra gold! All you need to do is wait for the third mystery to unlock and be ready to set sail for another adventure.
