Exploration has and will always be a part of video games, even older obscure titles tend to reward you for going out of your way sometimes whenever the path splits into two. But you don’t always want to diverge from the intended path in Derelict and would want to get straight to the point.
Getting to the Weeping Grove sounds too easy to not get lost along the way, and in this guide you and me both will go for a little walk to make sure that you get to the next fast travel point without having too many question marks pop over your head.
Weeping Grove Guide
The easiest way to get to the Weeping Grove is by starting at Hollow’s Outback. Use the Bonsai Tree fast travel point to begin your journey and the compass, making sure that you’re always heading towards north. You’ll go through different kinds of terrain before getting there. But as long as you stick to the right side, you’ll arrive at your destination in no time.
Head directly north after you leave the Hollow’s Outback fast travel point. There should be a path with a dark color palette that you can follow that will lead into the mountains. The road will only split once, when you see the fork, make a right turn.
Follow the path closely and you’ll eventually come across a grassy area surrounded by mountains. After that, the road you’re taking will slowly descend and reveal the Weeping Grove. The lit-up trees will help let you know that you’ve arrived at your destination. Another fast travel point will eventually show up on the right side. You know, to cut out all of the walking you just did!
