Since we are talking about a blockchain game, Alien Worlds is connected to the WAX Network where every action in the game that generates income or in any way affects the economy is something called “CPU”.
Think of it as a “gas fee” in the crypto space, but instead, the CPU you spent isn’t gone forever. It regenerates after 24 hours.
With the huge spike in new players joining the game, there were fewer resources allocated to each player, which is why it resulted in an “Error out of CPU” issue as soon as a new player joins the game.
Fix “Out of CPU” Error in Alien Worlds
Fortunately, there is an easy fix for this problem and all you need to do is Stake WAX for your CPU.
You can do that by heading over to your WAX Wallet and clicking “Resources”. Then simply insert the amount of WAX you wish to Stake. Once you determine the amount of CPU you need you should enter the amount and press “Stake”. The more WAX you stake in your Resource panel the more CPU you’ll receive.
In order to bypass the “Error Out of CPU” problem, usually, you’ll need around 40-50 WAX just to be able to play the whole day without getting this error.
Remember, you can unstake your WAX at any time, so don’t think you need to waste money just to get more resources. The money you invested is never lost.
If you don’t have WAX to stake, the next solution is to wait until your daily CPU allocation from WAX regenerates, which will allow you to continue.
Note that you might have to wait from 24 to 72 hours until your CPU fully regenerates. This is affected by your availability and usage of the game resources on the WAX blockchain.
