Having a torch will make you feel like Indiana Jones as you explore a cave, but it’s certainly not very effective as the reach can only illuminate the area a few feet in front of you. That’s why in Sons of the Forest, flashlights are superior.
Thankfully, there are 3 flashlights you can pick up that are scattered all over the island in the game, but where are they exactly?
In this guide, we will show you where you can find all 3 flashlights in Sons of the Forest.
Sons Of The Forest – All 3 Flashlight Locations
Flashlight #1 Location
There is one flashlight that can be found in this location, or you can use our Sons of the Forest Interactive map.
Head to the snowy part of the island (specifically in this area), and you should find a body hanging on the cliff. There’s no way to get to the body by jumping, so you will need to cut whatever is holding the body up.
When you get up to where the body is hanging, you will find a rope tied to a rock. Use whatever sharp object you have like an axe and cut the rope, freeing the body and letting it fall down to the ground.
After freeing the body, head back down and you should find the flashlight around the body. If it’s not there, then chances are that the flashlight may have bounced off the ground and is hidden somewhere in the snow.
This will take a couple of minutes of searching, but rest assured that the flashlight is just somewhere around the body.
Flashlight #2 Location
Near the snowy area again, there is a cave that you can enter that has a flashlight. However, you cannot enter yet until you have a Rebreather and a Rope Gun.
Once you have both required items, you can now venture inside the cave.
Deep inside the cave, after diving a few times using the Rebreather, you will find a dead body that is wearing all black in a deep part of the cave.
The dead body should be holding the second flashlight, which you can pick up.
Flashlight #3 Location
The last flashlight can be found in the VIP Area of the island. This means you cannot enter this area unless you have the VIP Keycard.
Once you do have the VIP Keycard, you can then head to this area on the map to find the cave entrance that leads to the VIP Area.
Deep in the complex, you can find what looks like a break room or a living quarters. On the table, there should be a flashlight that is pointing at the dead body that is slumped against the couch.
Pick it up and you should have all 3 flashlights.
