Asura is a brand-new fighting game that players can indulge in on Roblox. The game is essentially a large-scale PvP fighting game. Players need to train themselves in different martial styles and then prove their skills to become an Asura champion. Since the game is relatively new, many players are confused about how exactly the game is played. This guide will serve as a beginner’s guide to help new players get started.
Complete Beginner’s Guide
Since there are a lot of different aspects that we have to go through, this guide will be divided into multiple sections.
Best Method to Make Money
The easiest and most reliable method to make money in this game is to join or create a Gang. This will provide you with a Gang Base with serves as the hub of your gang’s operations.
The Gange Bases are significantly overpowered for beginners since they provide around 500 Yen per minute. This can help to mitigate any losses that you incur while training.
The one disadvantage is that you need at least ten players in your server to activate the gang bases. If this requirement is not met, you will also not receive the cash. Hence, your best bet is to play on public servers with a large number of players.
Lastly, to join or create a gang, you need to simply open your Phone using the inventory and access the fourth app. This app logo will have an orange logo with multiple masked figures.
Inside the app, you have to enter the identification name of the Roblox group that the gang is based on. Moreover, you might have to switch off your Noob Protection as otherwise, the game won’t allow you to claim a base for yourself.
Jobs
Assuming that you were unable to join or create a gang, jobs are still a viable method to earn money. To take on a job, simply open your phone and select the first application. This application will have a purple background and a briefcase.
Once you click on the icon, a job will immediately be assigned to you. You will also have a timer associated with the job, so make sure that you complete it before the timer runs out.
Sprinting
Most new players are unaware of this, but you can also sprint in this game. To sprint, simply hold down the E key on your keyboard. This is much faster as compared to the default jogging.
Jogging isn’t worth doing in this game, so make sure that you sprint as much as possible. It might take getting used to since the usual key for sprinting is the Left Shift.
Bank Account
Once you get settled in the game, the next step is to open up your Bank Account. Initially, you will not be in need of an account since your noob protection will prevent you from getting robbed.
However, once this protection runs out you will need to protect your earnings. The best method to do this is to open the Bank Account.
To open an account, simply head to the bank building and interact with the counter. Here, you can open an account for 5000 Yen. This will also provide you access to ATMs that are scattered around the town. Here, you can safely withdraw and deposit your money.
Stats Tiers and XP Curves
Improving your overall statistics is an important part of this game, as it allows you to get stronger. To check your stats, you can head over to the Asura Association building.
Here, you need to spend 10,000 Yen to view your stats. Since this is expensive, we do not recommend checking your stats often since you will be wasting money.
As shown in the image above, your goal is to improve your stats as much as possible. You will start from the F-tier, and your goal is to get to the S-tier.
The stat screen also shows your upper and lower muscle caps alongside the body fat percentage. The cap for the upper and lower muscles is 25 kg if you want to stay lean.
Additionally, there is also an XP multiplier on each of your core stats. This is difficult to explain, but all that beginners need to know is that in early games, they will have the greatest XP boost that makes progression easier.
However, as you get better at the game, the XP multiplier levels out and eventually decreases towards late game.
Body Fat
We do not recommend going for a complete fat build as a beginner. This is because an increased body fat percentage will result in your character’s stamina running out very quickly. Gaining fat in this game is relatively easier than just eating food.
As seen in the image above, there is a red bar that fills up every time you eat something. Once this bar is full and exceeds the maximum limit, you will start gaining body fat.
If you do want a fat build, then we highly recommend focusing on your Strength and Stamina to stay in peak condition. Gaining muscle also decreases Stamina, but only if you go past the lean limit.
Stamina Training
The first stat that we recommend you focus on is your Stamina. Stamina is important since it allows you to Sprint for longer periods without stopping. We recommend getting at least an E Tier in Stamina before moving on to training other stats.
For training stamina, head to the gym immediately after completing your first job. At the counter, purchase the Breathing Mask for 1000 Yen.
This is important since wearing this mask provides your character with a passive training boost in Stamina as you Sprint around. Make sure that the mask is equipped using the inventory to make sure that the boost is active.
The next step is to get the Roadworks Training from the gym counter. This training costs 470 Yen per run but is the best way to level up Stamina.
Once purchased, select it from your inventory and choose to focus on Stamina. Then simply follow the Red Markers as shown in the image below to train your Stamina.
Completing the Roadoworks Training provides your character with more Stamina as compared to using the Treadmills. This is because the Roadworks training is manual as compared to the treadmill, which can be AFKed as well.
Additional Trainings
After training your Stamina, the next step is to focus on your other stats. You are free to choose whichever stats you want to, but we recommend focusing on Strength and Durability.
The reason is obvious you will get higher Attack Power and greater Health. The Strike Power training is quite simple. Once activated, head to the punching bag and punch it only when the icon appears.
The Strike Speed training is similar to the Strike Power one as well, but in this, you have to punch the bag continuously. These exercises do use significant Stamina, so you need to make sure that you have a good tier in Stamina before attempting any of these trainings.
The hardest stat to train by far in the game is Durability. This is because the training relies on other players punching you.
You need to make sure that you click on the training before getting knocked out since if you don’t, you won’t gain any experience. Pushups provide players with Strength. Squats give Speed, and Situps give Durability.
Muscle Training & Fat
Pushups, Situps, and Squats are really only good for training your muscles and nothing else. Pushups and Situps are good for training your upper muscles. Squats, on the other hand, are good for training your lower muscles.
A good tip for training your muscles faster is to purchase the Protein Shakes from the Gymrats shop as shown in the image above. The green bar that is shown in the image above highlights the protein intake.
Whenever this bar is filled more than halfway, you will receive a 20% training boost for your muscles. When the Protein bar goes to around 10%, then your character will start to lose muscle.
Fat can also be lost when the Fat bar is quite low. To speed up the Fat burning process, you can hop on the Treadmill and select the Fat Loss option. This will help you lose any fat that you gain significantly faster.
Locations
Most of the locations have already been shown in the guide, so this section will focus on other locations that we haven’t discussed.
Next to the bank is the Burger Joint, where you can purchase different foods. The Gymrat shop is just behind Burger place. And the protein shakes provide the same amount of food nutrients as the other food, with the exception of greater protein.
Walking down the street on which the Bank and Burger Joint are, you can also see as building where you can get Sushi.
The image below shows the building where you can get Sushi for only 200 Yen. Many players tend to miss this location since there are no indicators outside the building that this is a restaurant.
Walking down the street on which the Sushi restaurant is you will find another giant building that is most likely empty.
This will be the Arena Tournament center where you can fight waves of enemies to receive rewards. If you win, you get 150,000 Yen and a one-hour XP boost. However, no one tends to participate in this, so most likely you won’t be doing this.
Fighting / Martial Arts Styles
There are three fighting styles that can be used in Asura. Their names and locations are summarized in the list below:
- Nouchimaku Ipo (Boxing Style that can be trained in the Gym)
- Ryu Ken (Karate Style, which can be trained just behind the Hotspring)
- Hino Ushio (Sumo Style that can be trained at the Sumo location behind the Burger Queen)
