AUT in Roblox is an amazing RPG game that is always adding new updates and features for players to experience.
As you progress, there will be a lot of new items for you to obtain and new areas for you to explore. A Universal Time‘s Developers have added a new type of skin called the Unusual.
In this guide, we will show you what it is and how you can read the lines on the item.
AUT: Complete Unusual Guide | Everything You’ll Need
Unusual skins are great ways for you to make your character look better.
- You can get them from opening crates and have a rare chance of obtaining them.
- You can also trade with other players to get the skins that you really want to get.
- They also don’t have pity, so they’re much rarer. The rarest Unusual at the moment is called ‘The Honored One Yellow with 100% Purity – Yellow is Pattern 10’.
In the image down below, you will be able to see an example of the Unusual Skin. The first line of it says #1644, which means that you are the 1644th person to obtain this item. (This doesn’t matter that much in trading)
Pattern 2 – Color
The second line says Pattern 2, which is just the color number of the item. In the image below, you can see that the text is Orange. This will also determine the color of the glowing effects that are on your character when equipped.
The only color that has value is Yellow (in trading), because it basically looks like gold.
Purity
The third line is Purity. The higher the percentage, the more visible the glowing effects are going to be – and the more value it has in trading. (0% Purity is bad, and on the other hand, 97% goes insanely high)
In the image below, you can see that the effects are visible and such a bright color. It will also determine how many particles that you get.
If your purity is 1%, for example, the effects won’t be as bright, or as visible. For more details, check out our guide on Item Purity for AUT.
Charm
For the last line, it is Charm. This trait determines the shape of the glowing effects on top of your character. It doesn’t really matter that much when it comes to trading.
For example, when it says Sparkles, you are going to receive a sparkling effect with a circle shape.
In the images below, you will get to see some other effects you can get. Some of them actually look really cool, look at that purple effect!
You’ll also get a Dark Green effect with a circle shape. It does make your character look better! If you are someone who wants to make your character fashionable and cool to look at, definitely try to get these skins.
More Information (Unusual Purity Percentage)
- 100 Purity: Eliminates the entire color change effect.
- 95 – 99 Purity: Red (2nd rarest).
- 87 – 88 Purity: Yellow/Orange, a perfect gold color (currently the rarest, recommended for Fallen or Polaris).
- 80 – 95 Purity: Yellow to Orange.
- 60 – 80 Purity: Green to Yellow.
- 40 – 60 Purity: Blue to Green.
- 20 – 40 Purity: Purple to Blue.
- 0 – 20 Purity: Pink to Purple.
Higher purity results in more vivid visual effects (VFX). It’s essential to note that the following information may be subject to interpretation.
- Example: Unusually low purity, like 50 or below, may lack VFX effects on the Fallen Stand head. Purity above 50 introduces captivating effects to the stand’s head.
- Charm: Purity does not influence the charm’s appearance; it only affects the charm’s color.
- Unusual Chance: The likelihood of obtaining an unusual is still uncertain; item purity does not affect the chance. Purity solely alters the sell price of items and doesn’t correlate with unusual purity.
That’s the Unusual Skins that are getting added into AUT. These skins really improve the look of your characters. If you want to make your character look cooler and show them to your friends, definitely try to get these skins when they’re out!
