Life has many doors in Baldur’s Gate 3, and when there are doors, there’s going to be locks. And when there are locks there’s going to be keys involved. The only problem is, finding the right hole to fit your key in will take forever. Nobody has the patience for that, and for good reason.
This will either force you to give up and render the item in your inventory useless or have you waste one of your precious Thieves’ Tools to break through. But worry not, doors were meant to be opened in Baldur’s Gate, and we’re here to help get to the other side!
Find the Lock to Fit The Flower Key Guide
The Flower Key is one of the key items you’ll get while doing the Solve The Open Hand Temple Murders quest. The door in question will be at the very top of Fraygo’s Flophouse. It can be retrieved from the corpses that you produced in the Tunnels Underneath the Temple. You can get to those tunnels by using the hatch in the Temple’s Kitchen, just behind Sister Yannis.
Once you get the key you’re going to take it all the way to Fraygo’s Flophouse in the north. If you haven’t gone up here yet then make sure not to rattle the sentry in order for them to allow you passage. Get inside and head for the stairs to your right. Turn around when you get to the top and make for the ladder at the end of the room.
Look for the Wardrobe and simply interact with it as long as you have the Flower Key in your inventory. You’ll be able to access the room on the other side that has all the evidence you need to take to Investigator Valeria.
And that’s the lock the Flower Key fits into in Baldur’s Gate 3. Be sure to loot everything that isn’t bolted to the floor before you take your leave. The previous owner will be too busy being dead to care anyway.
