Zevlor has always been around ever since you started playing Baldurs Gate 3, both him and Aradin. That will quickly go away however once you progress the story further as he will be more involved with you and your party. All of this against his own will of course.

Now the playable area is huge, not only that but there’s also a certain condition that you need to meet if you want to get started on the quest that lets you find him. Read the guide below if you want to find out where he’s being held captive! Spoiler alert by the way.

Find Zevlor Guide

Zevlor’s location is deep within the Mind Flayer Colony, specifically the Tadpoling Center at X:688, Y:17. You’ll be able to free him after interacting with a Neural Apparatus. But before any of that, you have to Defeat Ketheric Thorm first in the Moonrise Towers.

Ketheric Thorm will jump down into the Mind Flayer Colony where you and your party will chase after him. This is all part of the main story so the only spot of difficulty you’ll have is his actual location, something that we’ve already given you.

Baldurs Gate 3 Find Zevlor Guide Neural Apparatus

Get close to the Neural Apparatus in the next room and you will be presented with two options:

  • Purge – This option will kill everyone inside of the pods, including anyone who’s still in the process of becoming a Mind Flayer.
  • Release – The morally correct option. This will release everyone including the Mind Flayers. Zevlor and the rest of his party will assist you in the fight.

When the fighting’s over along with all of the other sources of excitement, Zevlor will explain to you the events that transpired during the ambush. He’ll also tell you to go further into the colony and finish off Ketheric. He’ll round up the remaining survivors and help them escape.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
