When going through the many places in Baldur’s Gate 3, you might find some interesting ways to open doors and secret paths. From simply opening them, to using levers, candles, slotting in slabs or even using meat. The game just keeps giving you new ways of opening different areas up and the secret room in Moonrise Tower needs a pretty morbid key.
In this guide, we’ll show you what you need to put in the Ancient Altar to open the secret room in Moonrise Tower. Don’t worry, the thing you need is quite close to the altar. Hopefully, you’re not squeamish about the key though!
What To Put Inside Ancient Altar? | Moonrise Tower Secret Room
When you get to the Moon Rise Towers First Floor, you might notice that there’s an Ancient Altar in one of the rooms. When you interact with it, the game asks you to place something. If you’ve gotten to this point in the game, you should already know this will lead to a secret door with more loot! So, what do you need to place inside the altar?
Well, near the altar is a corpse, or what’s left of it anyway. It’s a corpse of a Human Spellcaster and inside is some standard loot and the key to the altar. That key is a Heart, just pick up the heart and place it inside the Altar. This will open the secret door and onto the secret area of the room!
NOTE: Remember to drag the item into the slot. Some players have reported that it can be a bit buggy if you click on the slot and pick the heart from there.
That’s the thing you need to put inside the Ancient Altar in the Moonrise Tower for Baldur’s Gate 3. Now, go out there and try to do it yourself! Make sure to go check out our guide on the top 3 multiclass you need if you haven’t already!
