Battlebit Remastered is a new low poly FPS game that aims to recapture the core gameplay mechanics of the Battlefield series in a better way. It includes destructible environments alongside servers capable of supporting up to 254 players per game. This guide will focus on a review of the Groza and the best loadout for it.

GROZA Gun Guide & Best Loadout

Overview

The Groza is the last unlockable weapon in Battlebit Remastered through level progression. Players can unlock this gun upon reaching level 94. This gun is best described as a squashed-down version of the AK74 due to its similar stats. However, the Groza is slightly easier to move around with.

For conservative players, this gun is helpful as it allows them to focus on one clear objective and accomplish it. This gun packs a punch due to its base damage of 34. For reference, the AK74 has a base damage of 33. So technically, you are outputting the same damage as one of the most meta weapons in the game.

The fire rate of the Groza is 650, which is slightly lower than that of the AK74, which is 670. Similarly, the Time to Kill for both guns is about the same. However, with the Groza, you can move around. A downside of this gun is the lack of customization options. You can only equip attachments for the Siderail, Barrel, and Optics. This leaves no options for the Barrel Rail and Magazine. This means that the magazine is capped at 30 rounds.

Reload Time

Additionally, the Reload Time for this gun is 4.3 seconds which cannot be reduced. For reference, the AK74 has a reload time of 4 seconds which is slightly less than that of Groza. This time must be factored in when you aim to push towards an objective, as enemies can easily kill you while reloading. A good workaround could be a Short Magazine option that could be added. This would reduce the clip size and the reload time, making it a balanced tradeoff overall.

Optics

Lastly, you will need an Optic for this gun since the base version comes with the Iron Sights, which are dreadful. However, the good news is that after 5 kills, you can unlock the first Red Dot Sight, which will make it easier to take on enemies that are up to 30 meters away.

Iron Sights

Side Rail

For staying on target and lowering that first shot accuracy, we recommend using the Tactical Barrel with the Groza. For the Side Rail, you have all the options, such as the Laser and Flashlight. However, we found that the Groza is best without these, especially the laser and flashlight, as they can easily give away your position to an enemy.

Hipfire

The Hipfire on this gun is also good, assuming you can control it and keep engagements within a few meters. The low fire rate of the gun might be a slight problem for fast-paced players, but the increased damage per round compensates for this. On unarmored opponents, they can easily be killed with 3 shots meaning that realistically all of your kills will be between 3 to 4 shots

Damage Dropoff

Another issue with this gun is the damage dropoff that is has when firing at enemies that are 50-plus meters away. Paired with the low velocity per round, tracking enemies over long distances is extremely difficult with this weapon.

To give this weapon a sweet spot for engagements, we recommend anywhere between 15-30 meters. This ensures that you are capable of taking on enemies in a proper 1v1 without losing any damage due to dropoff.

Unlock Times

The Unlock Times for this gun should also be assessed when reviewing its worth. Since it is unlocked at level 94, you look at almost 60-80 hours of playtime. This excludes the time spent in other modes, such as the Firing Range.

Additionally, when the game comes out of Early Access and officially releases, the levels of all the current players will be wiped, meaning that everyone starts from the beginning.

Hence, this will mean that current players will have to grind once again alongside new players. However, considering this gun, we highly recommend that you try it at least once since it is a very powerful weapon with acceptable accuracy.

This means that while dealing damage, your shots won’t be all over the place. Moreover, although the weapon requires a lot of grinding, by the time you reach level 94, you will already be familiar with the game’s mechanics, making you effective with this gun immediately.

As discussed previously, you should not equip anything on the side barrel to avoid giving away your location. For the barrel, we recommend using the Tactical Barrel for the first shot accuracy. Lastly, for the Optic, we recommend using the Red Dot Sight since the Iron Sights make it difficult to engage with enemies that are far away.

Recommended Loadout

The Groza is a very rewarding weapon once you unlock it due to its high firepower. If you have any questions or suggestions, let us know in the comments below.
