Battlebit Remastered is a new low poly FPS game that aims to recapture the core gameplay mechanics of the Battlefield series in a better way. It includes destructible environments alongside servers capable of supporting up to 254 players per game. This guide will focus on a review of the PP19 and the best loadout for it.
PP19 Gun Guide & Best Loadout
This guide will be divided into four parts, namely the Overview, Reload Times, Accuracy, and Recommended Loadout.
Overview
The PP19 or better known as the PP19 Vityaz is a Russian submachine gun which is inspired by the AK 74. Additionally, it is a direct variation of the Bison, a very well-known SMG in the Battlefield series. As opposed to the Bison’s helical magazine, the PP19 comes with a standard stick magazine.
Our initial test in the firing range revealed this to be a very accurate gun overall. However, when tested in ranked matches, the performance was slightly underwhelming, and the gun was difficult to get used to. This was partly due to the low fire rate of the Vityaz as compared to the MP5 and the Kriss Vector.
This causes players to favor a slightly unconservative approach by playing defensively and picking off targets one by one as opposed to just spraying in a room full of enemy players. Of course, you could take out enemy players in a room entirely, but the odds are very slim, considering the 240 ms Time to Kill. Alternatively, the Kriss Vector has a TTK of only 200ms.
Lastly, the slow fire rate of 750 rounds per minute allows players to conserve ammo while having a high Damage per Second ratio. The effect of this is that players engage multiple enemies at once without having to worry about reloading the gun.
Reload Times
The reload times on this gun are not that much of an issue. There are no magazines for the PP19 that offer an increased clip size. Both the Standard and Quick A magazines hold 30 rounds. However, once you reach 150 kills with this gun, you will have unlocked the B25 URK attachment for the Barrel Rail and the Quick A magazine.
Combining these two attachments together will help you achieve a reload time of 2.1 seconds which is quite a significant reduction from the base reload time. Compared with other auto weapons, the PP19’s reload time is almost half their reload times. Factor this in, and you should be able to blast your way through enemies without worrying about increased reloading times.
Accuracy
In terms of accuracy, we found that the weapon was indeed quite accurate, even with targets up to 50 feet away. Hence, you should not be afraid to engage in long-range combat. Ensure to fire in bursts of 5 to maximize the time before reloading. Moreover, the PP19 has low recoil with a base damage of 25, meaning that this gun can get you out of a pinch with ease.
In comparison to the MP5, the PP19 does not do well in medium-range encounters due to the low fire rate, which results in overall less damage dealt to the opposing players. However, if you are a conservative player and prefer to reload after every engagement, this should not trouble you. Overall the PP19 is a solid contender for players looking to try out a new weapon without investing the time in leveling it up. Just keep in mind that this gun offers low armor penetration at longer ranges and deals no light armor damage to transport vehicles.
Recommended Loadout
For the best PP19 loadout, we recommend using a Red Dot Sight, as this helps significantly in close-range encounters. After testing for quite some time, we recommend using the base red dot sight as it offers players a wide field of view for engaging multiple targets. We recommend not equipping a laser or a flashlight on the side rail since, most of the time, these tend to give away your location to enemy players. Moreover, these attachments are pretty much useless in daytime maps.
Moving on, we highly recommend that you equip the PP19 with either a short or a long-range suppressor. Having a quieter PP19 will not only mask your gunshots from enemy players but also help you feel more confident in your engagements as you will most of the time have the jump on them. Lastly, use the B25 URK for the under barrel and the Quick A magazine for reduced reload time. Check out the following guide if you are having difficulty quickly leveling up to unlock these attachments.
The PP19 is a phenomenal gun if used correctly. Initially, players might have difficulty adjusting to this gun due to its low fire rate and damage, but in the long run, it tends to reward players that adopt a conservative playstyle. For players that tend to thrive in close-quarters combat, this gun is the perfect fit. If you have any questions or suggestions, let us know in the comments below.
