With the end of the year quickly heading our way we can look back to see all the great games that’s been released from the start of the year to the end. We’ve seen the release of Elden Ring that shook the souls-like community to the core and bought new players into the fray, and at the end of the year we’ve seen God of War Ragnarok take front stage. Now we can look forward to the future and see what games we can expect to get on the PS5. Here are some games that you should look forward to in the future!
PS5: Best 10 Upcoming Open-World Games (2023 & Beyond)
We’re not only looking at the next year, we’re looking beyond that, mainly because some of the games in the list have no definitive release dates. There’s a lot of games that are planned to release for the PS5 and they’re from different genres so there’s one for everyone. These are the games that you should look forward to.
Spider-Man 2
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the next game in the modern Spiderman series after the first one and the Miles Morales spin-off. This time the two will combine into one game in the sequel with both characters fighting side by side!
Hogwarts Legacy
This game has been delayed for a while now but it will release sooner or later! Hogwarts Legacy is set in the time before the books and movies and you get to experience the life of wizard in Hogwarts at that time. This isn’t just some wizard life simulation as well since there’s a major story you follow throughout the game.
Forspoken
A lot of you might remember this game from the trailer which a lot of people agreed didn’t have the best dialogue. It really felt like a “Hello Fellow Kids” advertisement for the game which is sad because the game looks absolutely stunning! Despite the bad trailer the game features an interesting story as well as amazing graphics and gameplay.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
From the highest grossing movie that everyone forgot, we now have a big game coming out. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set in place the movie hasn’t touched on, which is a lot since Pandora is an entire planet. We still don’t have any solid information on how the game will be since its still early in development but the CG trailers are nice to look at!
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Super hero games? We have to give some love to our villains as well. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is made by Rocksteady Studios, the ones that made Batman Arkham Knights. The game features the 4 best anti-heroes that DC has to offer! The game is still in development but we all know it’s going to release soon!
Skull and Bones
This game has been in the radar since the release of Assassin’s Creed Black flag a thousand years ago and was supposed to be just an additional game mode to the game. Now Skull and Bones will be its own game featuring gameplay similar to the sailing in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. There’s still no release date but here’s hoping they don’t take as long as the Golden age of Piracy.
