Best Units (Update 14)
There are a ton of units in the Anime World Tower Defense that there are too many to test out and see what’s good. With the recent Update 14 in AWTD, there are even more units added to the game! That’s why you’ll want to know what the best units is early so that you’ll know where to spend your resources and time.
Unlimited (Honored)
Notable Information:

- DPS – 33,702.5
- 4 Different Support Skills.
Unlimited [Honored] is one of the better support units in the game. This unit can have knockback, slow, and cosmic skills. Not to mention that it can time stop for 50 seconds!
At Upgrade 4, the unit changes its attack to a line AOE while at Upgrade 7, it changes back to a circle AOE but bigger. When you upgrade this unit to the maximum level, you’ll get to use the different abilities.
Uchigo (Mad) + Blood Queen
Notable Information:

- DPS – 30,944 / 13,886.25
- Heavy Bleed Damage.
Uchigo [Mad] and Blood Queen is a pair of units that you should always keep together because of their synergy. One unit deals bleeding to the enemy while the other one deals more damage to bleeding units. This combination can easily do a lot of damage quickly when upgraded to the maximum.
Shining Star Idol

- Craftable.
Since its addition to the game, the Shining Star Idol is still one of the best support units out there. The great thing about this unit is that you can craft it instead of spinning it for them.
The unit buffs every other unit in range by increasing their damage by 2.25x! Not only that but when you maximize the upgrade for this unit you also get 18,437 which is massive.
Frame Sorcerer

One of the newest units in the game is the UR Frame Sorcerer which is probably one of the best Crit Units in the game. Not only does it have a high critical hit chance at 72% but it also deals True damage. At later upgrades his attacks will also turn into huge AOE ones!
Yukka (Yuta)

- Gives Despair debuff.
- At Max upgrade passive changes to Pure Love.
Yukka is one of the better damage dealers in the game and can deal a lot of damage because of its debuff. Before max upgrade, the unit can give the Despair debuff that makes enemies take 1.3 times more damage and reduces walk speed.
At max upgrade, the passive changes to Pure Love where charmed enemies will be attacked with 100% Critical Hit. This is great if you have other units like Dark Flame Lover or Tyran Eye in the same team.
King Of Heroes

- Can Nuke the entire map.
King of Heroes is of the highest attack units in the game and to add to that it can also nuke the entire map. At maximum upgrade, it gets the ability Rupture Sword which is an AOE that can hit the entire map. That’s the main reason why many players use this unit for leaderboard runs.
The unit also excels in damage farming as well as endless wave maps.
God Shinobi

God Shinobi is of the newest units to be added with Update 14 and is one of the best ground units there is. Not only that but at the last upgrade the unit gets a new passive called “Justice.” This passive increases the damage taken by enemies depending on the number of debuffs.
Visionary [Imagine]

- DPS – 46,178.33
- Applies random debuffs.
- Summons minions that deal damage.
With the game having a gamble with gacha, why not have a unit that has the same randomness? The Visionary [Imagine] unit has a random passive which gives random debuffs to enemies. Not only that, but there’s also the summons that can attack enemies with great damage.
Reverse Captain (BW)

- Can reverse the course of units.
The Reverse Captain [BW] unit not only has a high damage output, but the AOE is also a line which can be amazing in some maps. The main draw of this unit is that it can reverse the course of enemy units when placed. This means your other towers can deal more damage to them since they’ll stay within their range longer.
Not only does the unit reverse other units on placement without any upgrades, but if you do upgrade the unit, it’ll summon other units. At later upgrades, it will begin to summon allied units depending on the number of enemies around it.
Lord Sombra
Notable Information:

- DPS – 78,155
- 3 Different Abilities
- Immune to stuns and enemy effects.
Lord Sombra is one of the stronger units in the game and has 3 different abilities. The first ability is “I Am Atomic” which deals 25x the ATK DMG to enemies within range. The second ability, it’s “I Am Recovery Atomic” which increases the base HP to the unit’s total DMG.
Finally, we have the “I am all range Atomic” which deals damage to all enemies equal to the total DMG and resets the total DMG.
Shadow Monarch
Notable Information:

- Hunter Passive.
Shadow Monarch is another unit that can deal a lot of damage, especially with the Hunter Passive. What that passive does is it increases the unit’s attack depending on how many units it kills. Meaning that its damage can snowball as the waves go by.
Tamer Fuko (Divine)

- Deals no damage by itself but summons units.
- Perfect counter for metal enemies.
- Boosts summon damage.
The Tamer Fuko [Divine] unit doesn’t deal damage to enemies directly. Instead, it summons units along the path to damage enemies. It is the best summoner in the game and with the last upgrade the summons can hit metal enemies. The unit is a bit expensive to max out but is worth it.
