Blasphemous 2: All Prayer Locations | All Quick Verses & Chants

There is a mechanic called Prayers in Blasphemous 2. There are 2 types – Quick Verses and Chants and they serve as “abilities” that you can use to your advantage. If you’re interested in getting all of them, I got you covered. In this guide, I will show you how to get all the prayers – both quick verses and chants in the game.

All Prayer Locations | All Quick Verses & Chants

The method for executing both can be found within the prayers menu when you pause the game. Chants only necessitate holding down the designated button as you engage in the prayer.

Some of the prayers can only be unlocked with certain weapons and abilities. So, be on the lookout for notes like this:

Bleeding Miracle

It’s a quick verse that can launch a mystical disc straight ahead that can damage any enemy it hits. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, go to this part of Grilles and Ruin as shown in the image below.

After arriving at the location, go down these stairs.

Keep heading straight until you reach the chest. Interact and open it to get the Bleeding Miracle.

Galera Of The Living Briar

This quick verse creates a bolt of electricity in front of you that deals lightning damage.

In order to get this prayer, you must buy it from the Moving Merchant (available from the first location). That means that for this prayer, you won’t have to think about the movement of the location that much. You can buy it from the first meet.

Here are the possible locations of the merchant:

• City of the Blessed Name
• Crown of Towers: 2 locations in this area
• Elevated Temple
• Sunken Cathedral
• The Severed Tower
• Crimson Rains

After reaching the Moving Merchant, you can then buy the Galera Of The Living Briar for 3000 Tears of Atonement. You can get them by looting, as well as defeating enemies and bosses.

Martinete Of Forge And Thunder

This quick verse is a useful prayer that will throw a lightning axe in an arcing pattern. This is very useful for hitting enemies below you. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, go to this location in Mother of Mothers as shown in the image below.

Once you’re in the area, you’ll see a bell. Hit it with Veredicto in order to activate it. You will then have to be quick.

Proceed your way up by using the wall. Then, you will have to jump at the platforms that appear on the right side of the screen.

Again, you must be quick since they will disappear in a matter of time. Use the walls and jump through the platforms to reach the top and eventually the chest containing the Marinete Of Force And Thunder.

Rosa Of The Three Stars

This quick verse lets you shoot three fireballs in a shotgun like blast directly in front of you for a short distance. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, go to this area in the Sacred Entombments as shown in the image below.

In the location, you will see this wall blocking the chest.

In order to open it, you will need the Weight of Sin. Make your way up and use it on your way down. Then, proceed to open the chest containing the Rosa Of The Three Stars.

Liviana Of The Blighted Blades

This quick verse launches a series of daggers around you that home in on nearby enemies. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, make your way to this location in the Crown of Towers as shown in the image below.

Once in the location, you will see this bell. Double jump up to reach it and hit it with your Veredicto.

This will then open your way to the chest located directly below the bell. The chest contains the Liviana Of The Blighted Blades.

Bleeding Crown

This quick verse launches a crimson disc at the ground that will then move along the floor, damaging any enemies on the ground.

In order to get this prayer, you will have to buy it from the Forlorn Patio Shop located in the Streets of Wakes.

After arriving at the location, buy it for 6000 Tears of Atonement. You can get them by looting, as well as defeating enemies and bosses.

Serrana Of The Kindled Hearth

This quick verse acts as a flamethrower that deal fire damage at a short distance in front of you. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, make your way to this location in the Labyrinth of Tides as shown in the image below.

Once, you’re in the location, you will find a wall blocking a way, as well as this interactable statue as shown in the image below.

Interacting with the statue will open the gate for only a couple of seconds. You will need to be quick to reach it before it closes.

Use movement abilities to cover as much space as possible. Then, you will come across Blue Angel Mirrors. Use your Sarmiento & Centella to jump through the mirrors and reach the gate faster.

After going through the gate, you will then see the chest containing the Serrana Of The Kindled Hearth.

Zejel Of The Cruelest Thorn

This quick verse creates a barrier of thorns briefly around you that will damage any enemies close by. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, you will need to find and get the Holy Oil of Everlasting Anoinment located in the Elevated Temple. Make your way to this location as shown in the image below.

Then, make your way right and go inside.

You will then see angels where you must latch onto with your Ornament Hook to get to the other side. Make necessary jumps to reach each angel.

Pick up the Holy Oil of Everlasting Anoinment as shown in the image below.

Afterwards, you must make your way to the Svsona boss fight located in the Two Moons. Make your way to the location shown in the image below.

Give the Holy Oil of Everlasting Anoinment to Yerma before opening the gate and starting the boss fight.

She will then help you during the boss fight and give you the Zejel Of The Cruelest Thorn after defeating Svsona.

Peteneras Of The Burial Of The Lights

This chant is a useful spell that covers the ground in front of you in flames, almost in a wave effect. These flames will linger briefly which causes extra damage to any enemy that stands in front of you.

In order to find it, follow these steps:

Make your way to this location in the Ravine of the High Stones.

Simply pick up the Peteneras Of The Burial Of The Lights as shown in the image below.

Jabera To The Poison Of Jealousy

This chant creates a small poisonous cloud that will inflict miasma damage to any enemy that step near it. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, go to this location in the Crown of Towers as shown in the image below.

After arriving at the location, make your way up by using the walls and Blue Angel Mirrors with your Sarmiento & Centella.

After that, look for this interactable statue as shown in the image below. Using it will activate the platform towards right side. You must be quick since it will return back to its original position after some time.

Quickly use this Blue Angel Mirror to get on top of the platform.

Then, use this last Blue Angel Mirror to quickly reach the most left side of the area. Keep in mind that you must reach it before the platform returns to its original position since it will then be blocking your way down.

In order to reach the chest below before the platform returns back to its original position, use Weight of Sin on your way down.

There it is, the chest containing the Jabera To The Poison Of Jealousy.

Mirabras Of The Return To Port

This chant is a handy prayer that allows you to fast travel from just about anywhere back to the City of the Blessed Name. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, make your way to this area in the Profundo Lamento.

Simply go left until you reach the location as shown in the images below. You may then pick up the Mirabras Of The Return To Port prayer.

Chime Of The Twisted One

Using this chant will create a mystical bell that hits enemies close to you. It can also be used to find the Hidden Symbols in the game. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, make your way to this location in the Mother of Mothers shown in the image below.

Go straight on your right until you reach the room containing the chest with the Chime Of The Twisted One prayer.

Debla Of The Lights

This chant summons a beam of light that will inflict mystical damage to any enemy that touches it.

In order to get it, you must buy it from the Moving Merchant in the Crown of Towers region.

With that said, you will have to talk to him multiple times until he reaches this location as shown in the image below. After that, you may buy the Debla Of The Lights from him for 17,500 Tears of Atonement. You can get them by looting, as well as defeating enemies and bosses.

Tiento To Your Thorned Hairs

Using this chant will keep you safe from enemies for a brief period of time.

In order to get it, you will first have to find all the Lullaby Fragment. Here’s a guide on all the Lullaby locations in the game.

After collecting all of them, you may now make your way to the NPC in Profundo Lamento as shown in the image below.

Give all the fragments to the NPC. You will then need to successfully complete the challenge.

After that, you will get the Tiento To Your Thorned Hairs as your reward.

Seguiriya To The Memory Of Your Eyes

Using this chant briefly stops the time around you. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, you must finish the “Sealed Envelope” questline. Here’s a guide on how to solve all the Sealed Envelope riddles in the game.

After that, make your way to this location in the Streets of Wakes as shown in the image below.

Then, head west until you come across angels to latch onto.

Use your Ornament Hook to latch onto the angels and reach the most right side of the area.

On the last angel, jump up high and use Weight of Sin to open the door blocking your way.

After a cutscene, you will get the Seguiriya To The Memory Of Your Eyes prayer.

Taranto To My Sister

Using this chant shoots lightning bolts in both directions from you. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, make your way to this location in the City of the Blessed Name as shown in the image below.

Then, use your Ornament Hook to latch onto the angels and make your way onto the top.

After that, you’ll come across a bell. Hit it with your Veredicto. This will then release a wave in the area. You must be quick on the next steps and reach the location before the wave does.

Make your way down this ladder as shown in the image below. Then, make your way right.

After you go right, go down this ladder as shown in the image below.

Right next to the ladder, you’ll see a small crevice that you can slide into. If you made it in time, you will be able to go through the door.

Beyond the door is the chest containing the Taranto To My Sister prayer.

Aubade To The Sleepless Iron

With this chant, you will be able to summon a guardian to fight alongside you for a brief period of time. In order to find it, follow these steps:

First, you must make your way to this location in the Choir of Thorns as shown in the image below.

Then, double jump to reach the wall and latch onto it. Make your way up by jumping in between the walls.

After that, you will come across a long pit of thorns. You must double jump once again, and dash to reach the other side.

There it is, that’s the chest containing the Aubade To The Sleepless Iron prayer.
