If you don’t want to miss out on rewards or progression, this guide breaks everything down step by step, from catching your first fish to unlocking lightning powers.

Rumble Fruit Rework
The highlight of the update is easily the Rumble (Lightning) Fruit, now fully reworked with insane visuals and fresh abilities.
- Z – Lightning Orb: Can be charged into a dragon-shaped blast.
- X – Thunderstorm: Huge AoE strike.
- C – Sky Judgement: Calls down devastating lightning.
- V – Thunderball Destruction: Monster-level finisher.
- F – Electric Flash: Quick dash skill.
It’s not just flashy—it feels stronger and more tactical than ever. Fans of Devil May Cry will notice some fun references too:
- The “Storm is Approaching” event message nods to Vergil’s “Now I’m motivated”.
- The charged Z move is basically an electric Judgement Cut.
- Koko’s revamp skill looks like a mini Judgement Cut End.
If you’re a style fan, maybe one day we’ll even see a Motivated Lightning skin 👀.
New GUI & Inventory
Blox Fruits finally cleaned up its menus! The update includes:
- A redesigned wardrobe
- Cleaner inventory layout
- A more organized backpack system
It’s a small change but makes day-to-day grinding feel way smoother.

Summer Gacha & Lightning Event
The limited-time Summer Gacha is live, and it ties directly to the hourly Lightning Event.
- How it works: Every hour, storm clouds appear above random islands. NPCs struck by lightning become electrified.
- Defeating them rewards Summer Tokens.
- With 500 tokens, you can spin at the Gacha NPC (he’s wearing green now).
If you’re looking for ways on how to farm Summer Tokens the fastest way possible, check out my guide for that as well!
Possible rewards include:
- Free fruits
- Event-exclusive skins
- Other rare goodies
⚠️ Note: Summer Gacha shares a 2-hour cooldown with regular Gacha, so time your spins wisely.
Lightning Upgrades (Admin Panel)
Talk to the Mysterious Scientist NPC to access the Lightning upgrade panel.
- It tracks your Lightning challenges (like neutralizing 25 electrified enemies).
- Unlocking new abilities depends on mastery, not being “locked out.”
So, if your moves B and C aren’t showing, just keep grinding mastery.
Portals & Locations
Travel just got easier:
- A golden portal now warps you straight to Tiki Outpost.
- The Submarine has been rebuilt, letting you dive to the Submerged Island once you prove yourself.

New Submerged Island
Beat the Tyrant (Eagle Boss) at Tiki Outpost, and you’ll unlock a passage to Subport-01, where the submarine takes you to the new Submerged Island.
This underwater zone is basically a Tiki Outpost 2.0, complete with:
- Brand-new quests
- A storm zone tied to the Lightning Event
- Higher level cap (now up to around 2675–2700)
It’s a must-unlock area, especially for future updates.
Fishing System
Fishing has finally arrived—and it’s surprisingly in-depth.
- Start at Port (Third Sea) with the Fisherman NPC.
- He gives you a basic rod, 10 bait, and the title Fisherman.
- Fish by equipping your rod, casting, waiting for the popup, and pressing Z at the right time.
- Balance the tension until you reel it in.
Other features:
- Buy extra bait
- Sell fish
- Fill out your Fish Index (like a Pokédex)
- Track your fishing stats
Leveling up your fishing unlocks new NPCs like the Angler, who sells better rods and quests. Eventually, you can even craft the Gold Rod.
Cooking & Crafting Potions
Fishing ties into cooking and crafting. Using wooden planks, you can build a Cooking Pot and make consumables.
Some useful potions include:
- Fish Kebab – Heals HP over time (outside PvP)
- Lava Potion – Grants lava immunity
- Aggro Elixir – Draws enemies to you
- Lootseeker – Reveals hidden sea chests
- Berserker Elixir – Extra damage vs. bosses/bandits
- Fortune Elixir – Boosts money earned
Equip them via Backpack → Consumables and watch buffs appear on your HUD.

Random Fruit Gacha Revamp
The regular Gacha also got love:
- Brand-new UI with rarity tiers (Common → Mythical)
- Fancy animations + new background music
- Same level-scaling price
My first roll? A Sand Fruit… yeah, RNG still hates me. But hey, at least the presentation is way nicer now.
Wrap-Up
And that’s everything in the Lightning Update! Between the Rumble Fruit rework, fishing system, new island, summer gacha, and crafting, this update is easily one of the most content-packed patches in Blox Fruits.
Whether you’re grinding mastery, fishing up your first rare catch, or farming electrified NPCs for tokens, there’s something here for every type of player.
