Collectables have always been part of the Call of Duty series when it comes to the Campaign. Call of Duty MW3 (2023) is no exception as there are many collectables to locate. One such collectable is the Armor Slots, which actually provide you with a tangible benefit in the game. They allow you to take additional damage during the campaign, making them worthwhile to get.
However, their locations are hidden all across the various maps featured in the Campaign. In this guide, we will show you the location of All Armor Slots in the game. By getting all of these Armor Slots, you will also be able to obtain the Bulletproof Trophy. This way, you will be able to obtain two benefits in one. Let’s dive in and see where we can find these Armor Slots!
All Armor Slot Locations
There are Armor Slots available to pick up throughout the Campaign of Call of Duty MW3. Each of these Slots provides an upgrade for your Plate Carriers. In essence, each Armor Slot increases your armor limit by one, providing you more capacity for protection.
There are two Armor Slots in each of the maps, and we will show you exactly where they are. Picking up all the Armor Slots will grant you the Bulletproof Trophy.
Precious Cargo – Armor Slot #1
You can find the first Armor Slot in the building on the top right of the map in Precious Cargo.
Specifically, it is inside the large control room that you can find on the first floor. Make your way up the first set of stairs into the building. After that, follow the map and you should be able to find the room.
Inside the control room, there will be a screen with a green radar. The Armor Slot will be lying right alongside it. Pick it up for your first Plate Carrier Upgrade.
Precious Cargo – Armor Slot #2
You can find the second Armor Slot for the Precious Cargo mission in the building on the bottom right corner of the map.
Specifically, you can find it in the Office on the Second Floor of the building. You will need to go up at least two sets of stairs when you enter this building.
When you reach the second floor, look through the doors in the hallways. You should be able to find the office with a large desk. The Armor Slot will be lying against a bunch of shelves on the left of the desk.
Reactor – Armor Slot #1
The next Armor Slot can be found during the Reactor Mission. Look for a large building towards the bottom left corner of the map.
Specifically, it can be found on the Rooftops of this building. This means you will need to make your way up the outer staircase.
When you reach the rooftops, look for some construction material. You should be able to find the Plate Carrier Upgrade alongside a stack of wood panels.
Reactor – Armor Slot #2
The second Armor Slot for the Reactor mission can be found in the bottom right corner of the map.
Specifically, it can be found inside a Warehouse in the area. The Armor Slot can be found just inside the Warehouse, near one of the entrances.
Go towards the entrance from the North side of the Warehouse. The Plate Carrier upgrade will be lying alongside some boxes on the left side of the entrance.
Crash Site – Armor Slot #1
The next set of Armor Slots can be found in the Crash Site Mission. The first Armor Slot is in a small house towards the left of the map.
Specifically, it can be found in one of the rooms, which is the Kitchen. You can easily access this area from the left side of the house. There is an entrance that leads directly inside.
When you enter the kitchen from this entrance, look towards the right. There will be a table in the corner that will have the Plate Carrier Upgrade lying on top of it.
Crash Site – Armor Slot #2
The next Crash Site can be located in another house. This house is towards the bottom right of the map as shown below.
Specifically, it is inside a small side room inside this house. There is an entrance that leads directly inside this room and you can access it from the top left of the house.
Enter the side room and you will find a bunch of computers, wiring and equipment inside. The Plate Carrier Upgrade will be lying on a chair. Pick it up for your sixth Armor Slot.
Halfway there!
Oligarch – Armor Slot #1
You can find the first Armor Slot for the Oligarch Mission in the center of the map. There is a water canal running through this area.
Enter the canal and make your way slowly towards the center.
You can swim in the canal from the right side of the map to the center. As you swim, the water will start to even out.
Eventually, the water will end and there will be a small dry section that you can climb up to. There will be a bunch of boxes next to a tree.
On top of these boxes, there will be a bunch of goodies. This includes a Plate Carrier upgrade that you can pick up.
Oligarch – Armor Slot #2
You can find the next Armor Slot’s location for the Oligarch Mission in the top left corner of the map. There is a prominent circular area that you can see in this area.
This is a large open area with a fountain at the center. Enter this area from the North and look for a black SUV.
There will be a bunch of boxes that are sitting next to this SUV, including a large red one. The Plate Carrier Upgrade will be resting against these boxes, waiting for you to pick it up.
Highrise – Armor Slots #1 and #2
The Highrise Mission can be a bit confusing to navigate since it is a singular building with multiple floors.
As a result, the floor orientation will constantly change as you reach new floors. So, we will go through the directions to ensure you can navigate this map properly.
You will start out on the ground floor. Make your way ahead until you reach an opened up elevator shaft. Climb up the ladders as high as you can.
After that, make your way through the hallways until you find some stairs. Go up these stairs to the upper floors.
Navigate through the hallways until you see a small doorway on the right that leads to the laundry room.
This room is easy to ignore when you are doing the objectives. We have marked the room on the minimap below.
The Plate Carrier upgrade will be lying near some laundry machines. Pick up this upgrade and make your way outside to the hallway to continue. Now, we will look for the second Upgrade on the map.
Leave the laundry room and continue down the hallway. At the end of this hallway, you can see another set of stairs.
However, these stairs will be blocked at the top. Instead, you will need to leave via the open window that leads outside.
When you jump out the window, you will need to do some platforming and jumping. Make your way towards the building on the left. There will be an entrance that allows you to enter inside.
Once you enter the building, follow the hallway ahead. At the end of this hallway, there will be a Plate Carrier Upgrade waiting for you.
A bunch of shelves will be blocking the path, and you can get past these by going from the right.
There will be a large red box at the end of this hallway. The Plate Carrier Upgrade will be lying alongside it and you can pick it up.
These Armor Slots were definitely a lot more complicated to get than the others!
Gora Dam – Armor Slot #1
The first Armor Slot in the Gora Dam mission can be found at the Power Station. This building is located towards the right of the map.
Specifically, you can find the Armor Slot on the roof of the Power Station.
You can get on top of the Power Station via a rope that can be accessed from the wall on the North of the Power Station.
Approach the rope and Ascend to reach the roof directly. Make sure you actually have an Ascender for this part, which is a collectible that you can actually find on this map.

When you reach the roof, there will be a large red box in the middle. The Plate Carrier Upgrade will be lying right next to it and you can pick it up.

Gora Dam – Armor Slot #2
The final Armor Slot can be located towards the top right corner of the Gora Dam map.
Specifically, you can find it in a corner of a wide road.
There will be some boxes and orange barriers right next to a wall. Look closely, and you should be able to see the Plate Carrier Upgrade lying against the boxes. Pick it up to obtain the final Armor Slot.
If you picked up all the Armor Slots in the Open Combat Missions of the Campaign, you will obtain the Bulletproof Trophy.
And that’s where you can find all the Armor Slots in the Call of Duty MW3. Picking up all these Plate Carrier Upgrades will grant you the Bulletproof Trophy. Additionally, having all these upgrades will ensure that you will have as much armor as possible in the game. In this way, you can become a bullet sponge when playing the Campaign!
