When jumping into a new game like Anime World Tower Defense, you’ll need to know a lot of things. Aside from the game mechanics that the game teaches you, there are some tips and tricks that veteran players know. From units, you should strive to get early on to what you should focus your resources on. That’s why you’ll want to learn all you can before jumping in.
In this guide, we’ll show you some tips on what you should do in your first hours of the game. We’ll show you units you should try to get and ones you should avoid. Now let’s see what we’ll need to do!
Complete Beginner’s Guide
There are a lot of units that you’ll need to learn and use in Anime World Tower Defense. Some of these units though are needed for most of the meta teams in the game so you should know who they are. Try to grind for these units and follow these tips to maximize your experience in the game!
Ratio Sorcerer
One of the towers that you’ll want to try and roll for is the Ratio Sorcerer. That’s because out of the box, this unit has a 70% Critical Rate which is very high. It’s one of the very few units out there that has some consistent criticals and is a great addition to someone starting.
So, when you go to the Summon Units screen, you’ll want to check out the Stardust Crusader Banner. There you can find Ratio Sorcerer which has a 0.451% drop chance. It’s a fairly low chance but it is well worth it since it’s already great without any upgrades.
Units for Story
When going through the story in the game, you might hit a wall where you can’t progress. You might be tempted to go for some high-rarity units but don’t forget about the Rare ones.
There are some great Rare tier units in the game. Here are some of the units that you’ll want to get to help you out in that situation:
- R+ Arter [Half Demon]
- R Vuno
- R King Colo
- R Kongkun
The main draw of these characters is that they’re very easy to Evolve in the game. The materials you need to do so aren’t that hard to get even for a new player.
Units To Grind For
Another unit that is always a great addition is the MR Shining Star Idol. This is what you’ll want to grind for the most.
One of the items you’ll need is the Idol Postcard, which can only be obtained at the Legend Stage Idol Concert.
Inside that stage are metal enemies that can only be damaged with crits, which is why you’ll need a Ratio Sorcerer.
After you get the Shining Star Idol, you’ll want to work towards the Dark Flame Lover. It’s another unit that can easily be great for any team.
This is one of the few Miracle Units that are very easy to get as its requirements aren’t that hard to obtain. Some of the items are taken from certain stages but they’re easy to beat.
Avoid LR Evolutions Early On
Now that you have two great support units, what about damaging units? This is where you’ll want to roll for anyone you want but make sure to avoid LR Evolutions.
Most of the LR units require a lot of resources to Evolve and for a new player, it might take a lot of time to do.
Leveling Units & Rerolls
Make sure that you level up all of the units to Max Level. A lot of people get stingy with their gold at the start but it’s fairly easy to grind it.
Most of the grind in the game are the materials for Evolution, so don’t worry about using your gold to do some upgrades. Always go for maxing their stats out with these upgrades.
Another way to make your units stronger is to Re-roll them. Make sure to do that to maximize your stats, like trying to get as high as possible with all 3 for your damaging towers. Don’t do Limit Breaks early on in the game, save those for later.
Leader Units & Synergy
Lastly, you’ll want to ensure your Leader unit synergizes well with your team. The Leader Skill is applied to the team if the unit is in the 1st slot. Check out what the different Leader Skills are and see what bonuses they can give.
Make sure that your units also synergize well, for example, some units heal when attacking bleeding enemies. So, make sure to have a unit that deals with bleeding, so that you can maximize that effect. Experiment around with different unit combinations and see what fits your play style.
Learn About The Enemies
When you’re going to a stage, remember to check on the enemy list. There, you can press on the question mark on each one of them and it’ll give you information about that enemy.
Some of them have unique mechanics like only being damaged by elemental attacks or criticals. Make sure to know what you’re up against before jumping into a level!
With all that information, you should be ready to jump into Anime World Tower Defense. Now, go out there and try the game out!
